Nice unit for the price. The ash clean-out helps a little bit, but I think you'll still need to vacuum. I'm happy with my Z Grills 7002C2E, but wish it had a bigger 2nd shelf like this one, for exactly the reason you pointed out Tom. I'm looking forward to many TH recipes to come on this beauty!
This is a nice-looking unit. I wonder why they went with the small pellet hopper. I would think they would have at least put a 20 lb hopper on a unit that size.
Hey Tom great video! So I been looking at the 7002C/F model from Zgrills and came across your other video of the Nexgrill Oakford 790. Between this model and the Oakford which on would you recommend over the other and why? 🍻
I bought a "Ceramic Egg" pellet grill a year ago, the fire box is rusted completely out. I live on the Gulf Coast and I did keep it covered. Does anyone make a Grill with a Stainless Steel fire box?
Love my 2 year old 600D3E! This makes mind look old. How's the seal on the lid? Did you put it together? The little lady says no more grills. Well, see?
I think the zgrills ZPG-7052B and ZPG-1102B grills are top notch. This new model fails in two critical areas. It lacks WiFi and the 12 lb hopper is inadequate.
Thanks for Watching Harry! I disagree, 12 pound is sufficient, the WiFi means not a whole lot… since I have many grills with WiFi that I’ve paid extra for. Not really relevant other than saying you have it. Appreciate the feedback, I always expect those that will disagree and I respect your opinion. Thanks
Just ordered this grill. Thanks for the great review and keep making grill content. And your link saved me $10.
Thanks for Watching Greg! Enjoy!

Thanks for watching Ted! Agreed on the ash clean out! More to come!
Makes sense that the pucks were reading on target on the middle and top shelf because it looked like the tip of the PID probe was at the same level
Thanks for Watching! Agreed! Good observation

Z-Grills needs to send PAPA one of these!

The other 1000 series has a two shelves and a twenty pounds hopper. It's also more expensive. This is a great buy.

Thanks for Watching Wiley! In my opinion the breadbox design making it more vertical saves on pellets
FYI The Z Grills hopper extension that's for the 700 series fits this model.@@TomHorsmanAmateurBBQ
@MindfulMusic Thanks for Watching! Good to know, Thank you!
I like it! How many Chuck Eyes can we fit on there? 🤣 Nice Vid Tom!
Never thought of that….. Thanks for Watching!
@@TomHorsmanAmateurBBQ Welcome and my guess would be Enough to eat them all week I bet! 😊
You are correct!
That's really the only measure that matters.

Thanks for Watching! They both will work just fine. I’d give the zgrills an edge though, my opinion is the controller is more accurate
