LIVE A LIVE Remake - Imperial China: Lei Route - It's my fault (English) [SPOILER WARNING]

An optional scene from the LIVE A LIVE Remake for the Nintendo Switch. Please know this is a major spoiler from the Imperial China chapter. If you want to experience it for yourself, please avoid watching this.
This is a fun game, worthy of it's Hidden Gem status. While we couldn't get it back in the day on the Famicon, outside of Translated Rom Emulators, I pretty much enjoyed this game ever since I played the Demo. Granted, some chapters are better than others, but overall, this is a good game.

The optional scene in question comes from Lei Kugo's Route in the Imperial China chapter "The Successor". In this chapter, an Elderly Shifu who practices the Earthan Heart, finds three potential disciples to train which includes Lei Kugo, Yun Jou and Hong Hakka (Sammo in Japanese Dub). The twist comes midway when a rival school murders two of your three disciples and whoever you trained the most will barley survive the encounter.
On Let's Plays involving Lei Kugo, a rowdy female bandit who has a good heart deep down, when you head to the Indomitable Fost to avenge Yun and Hong, players ALWAYS choose the first option when Lei catches up to you in the Bamboo Forest. This is what happens when you choose the second option and honestly... it adds more to Lei's character and I wish other Let's Players choose this more often. I get why this happens because most of the time you're given a choice, you're forced in a loop until you pick the right option, but this scene progress' regardless of choice, but the second option gives more to Lei's overall character arc and it's a shame that it's easily missed. I hope you'll all enjoy it.

Just finished this route (after replaying since I got Hong the first time who I wasn't too fond of, lol). WOW, they really did Lei dirty making this scene optional. Without it there's such a massive emotional disconnect toward the students who didn't make it compared to Yun's and Hong's side. Like, it's KINDA there at the end but not as strong.
