+Christian Madrigal Well that's exactly what megas are there for. GF just need to do a better job of picking which pokes get megas (ie NOT pseudos) and keeping the megas from being broken (here's looking at you, Kanga)
+Kostas Kotzias You guys realize that removing legendaries would do nothing right? Kangaskan, Amoonguss, Talonflame, Tyranatar, Garchomp, And many more Pokemon would still be over powered. It's called a competitive Metagame. Deal with it, use low tier mons and probably get destroyed, or don't be a good-top player I guess.
+KB2 Gaming I battle online every week, average out on the OU ladder at around 1,550 (Showdown) and a Win/Loss of around 30-9 and have literally never used an OU Pokemon in the tier. You might just suck at the game, dude.
I wish they'd do a highlight reel for the weirder match ups. Not every champ match can have a Pachirisu unfortunately, but I'm sure there are people who've tried unconventional mons in the lower-ranked matches.
I remember watching this when it came out. I was so young and don't know anything about competitive at that time. I totally hate how Landorus looks at that time, and made me not look back in VGC. Now that I'm older and became a VGC player. I still hate him, but he's so reliable in competitive that I gotta give him props for still being viable in Gen 8.
I’m gonna get so much hate for this but I love all of the forces of nature, the only one I kinda dislike in Tornadus Therian but besides that, I like them all a lot.
Honestly, similar story with me and Amoongus. First got into Pokemon, I thought it was ugly as hell, with cheesy Sleep hacks and a stupid name spawning a stupid joke, and it was always popping up when I looked at VGC. Now, 2 years later, a bit wiser (I hope) and way more into VGC, and I'm realising this seemingly mediocre pokémon has been at least relevant for 10 years and 4 generations. And I have nothing but respect for that.
+Emotionlord In all of the history of the Pokemon Video Game Competition (been around since 2008). There hasn't been a single pokemon that was banned unless it was a cover legendary or an event only pokemon such as mew deoxys manaphy shaymin jirachi darkrai. Only exception was in 2010 when the rules used were like the genaration showdown online compettion that was held a few monthes ago where you were allowed to use up to 2 of groudon rayquaza mewtwo kyogre dialgia palkia zekrom reshiram ho-oh or lugia(event legends were still banned). species clause was still in affect so no running multiples of the same pokemon. So looking at the trends the ban your looking for won't happen.
+Monado Boy "Kid Savage" Don't wanna make it sound rough, but your YT comments are being quoted and laughed at on some Twitter accounts I follow. +ThatGamerDude the top 8 teams in the world championships of Pokemon use basically the same Pokemon. That's pretty convincing they are the best combination of Pokemon

On top of that, most pros use something called PKHex to hack in their pokemon with perfect IVs, EVs, and movesets to save lots of time and effort. I use PKHex myself and let me tell you I don't ever see anyone who plays competitively doing it the "legit" way.

in game one Hideyuki switches out volcarona for landorus... He could have possibly won if he got rid of the confusion on his aegislash by switching that out instead... What is a paralyzed 5 hp Volcarona going to do against an earthquake either way? Misplay in my opinion.. :3
Can anyone tell me why isn't there singles? I believe it would be better AND faster if it was a single battle with 3 pokemon. or do it somewhat similar to the anime with 3 for the first few and 6 for the grand finals
RIGHT!? This is my exact thought. I prefer singles because it is the same as the anime. Although I dont think it would be faster. The battles would probably be a lot longer actually. (I think this is the reason that they don't) But they should still have a singles category. I would definitely watch that.
I say faster for only 3 because it's about 5-10 minutes max per battle and your Strategy would be kinda limited because you have to adapt to many many types of situations. That's really challenging in my opinion. With six pokemon, it should only be 1 round not 2 because it saves so much time and it would take just as much time as the current battles we see now. Then again, there are defensive walls and stallers but I believe it could work.
Juxboxable right??? you put my thoughts into words perfectly. That's what i was trying to say. Like the other guy said theres no class if he is there rubbing it in the other's guy face. Be dead inside until the match is over.

Shoma is the most cancerous player ever...overly dependent on rng more than skills...constantly relies on paralysis and confusion to win...it's not even fun to watch him play!!
The team wasn't THAT unique, it cut top 4 in nationals in masters. Just bc it didnt have kang doesn't mean it was more diverse. Skill swap was cool tho.
Okay,so,reason why I looked this up,my brothers friend gave me all his cards,ALL of them,I was looking through them and saw a Groupon and was like cool,so I flipped it and on the back it said world championships 2015 and I FREAKED OUT.I don’t know if it was fake or not,but I still treasure it,and now every time I get a Groudon I name it Champion
because swagger has the effect of increasing the opponent's attack stage by twice. Also the fact that almost every pokemon can learn swagger unlike confuse ray.
The competitive play is about using the best, those people who tried to be original were eliminated easily. But good work at trying to look unique with a random yt comment. Sidenote: This is competitive play, a lot of people already tried "ordinary" mons but they are not good enough, this is not a 1 time event, people knows what is good because the good sets and mons were seeing trough regionals, nationals, qualifiares etc. Metagaming might work but its risky for a big event like worlds.
I only ever use Ordinary Pokemon. Maybe this is just me trying to be authentic to the anime and what regular in-game trainers would usually have but I hate using legendaries. It just seems unrealistic and over-powered. I would much rather use a team of my favourite regular pokemon that I caught and trained up.
Ah, loving me some original teams! (Waiting for that one guy to reply that you have to run those pokes or you will lose). Fair statement, but I just wish they would change this.
You don't have to use the common set to have a chance winning, maybe take counters to the common sets. A Pokemon with Ice Beam for Landorus maybe? Or bring a Water-Ground type, people in VGC rarely seem to have grass moves.
Alternatively I might consider Curse - Recover - Waterfall - Earthquake quagsire, curse up and defeat the opponents whole team 4 - 0 now that'd be funny

This finals is the proof Swagger and Thunder Wave haven't been nerfed enough. Too cheap.
This was the most boring game I've ever watched. Plus Shoma overreacts more than anyone I've ever seen.
Shoma is the most cancerous player ever...overly dependent on rng more than skills...constantly relies on paralysis and confusion to win...it's not even fun to watch him play!!
+Rohit Khetan any player who uses stall or spreads status and counts on hax to win is garbage
+Alucard True !!
No original strats and that geezer with his lack of sportsmanship. I hope this year is better, I seriously do.
This year was boring. Nothing but Landourus and Mega Kanghaskhan
I need help! How do you change the name on your channel? 🤔
That's really sad that the only way to win is to use haxx and the 2 geniuses....
The senior final was better at least it was a Brit that won with unique team
Ya dude the skill swap into the swapped in heatran and heat wave from zard was so sick
The team wasn't THAT unique, it cut top 4 in nationals in masters. Just bc it didnt have kang doesn't mean it was more diverse. Skill swap was cool tho.
I would like to know why guys have a girl avater '-'
Because she's cooler ;)

Problem with this is that everyone uses the same pokemon......
They want to git gud, thats all.
TheMagicMudkip not anymore in 2017 No mega no Legendary
Cynist People will still use the same kinds of Mons. But it would be better to not see P.Kyo and P.Grou though.
the alola region will make this a bit better
what the name of this game? where i can play this?
Pokemon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire
Minesweeper
Okay,so,reason why I looked this up,my brothers friend gave me all his cards,ALL of them,I was looking through them and saw a Groupon and was like cool,so I flipped it and on the back it said world championships 2015 and I FREAKED OUT.I don’t know if it was fake or not,but I still treasure it,and now every time I get a Groudon I name it Champion
Why don't they just use confuse ray instead of swagger???
because swagger has the effect of increasing the opponent's attack stage by twice. Also the fact that almost every pokemon can learn swagger unlike confuse ray.
Also confusion deals more damage if u have higher attack
Also confusion deals more damage if u have higher attack

What kind of game is this? please Reply
First person shooter
ohhh ok thanks
It's not, lol.
It's a Turn-based combat RPG.
It's Digimon
I catch legendaries but I never use them. Maybe for fun sometimes but not in serious battles. The "ordinary" pokemon are underestimated.
Yep, which is downfall of many players.

TEAM WHISCASH YES
Alternatively I might consider Curse - Recover - Waterfall - Earthquake quagsire, curse up and defeat the opponents whole team 4 - 0 now that'd be funny
No Shadow Sneak onto the Heatran?
Hey, yo! It's really astounding overflow pickle What's your opinion about it, guys !!!
I can't believe this is real
