They may be extremely difficult to complete at times, but I still think that these challenges provide some of the most interesting and innovative bonus content out of any New Super Mario Bros. game. The simple idea of creating several short levels centered around a certain concept or idea really resonates with me, and I hope Nintendo will continue to produce content in this vein (new mini-series anyone?).
I completely agree, I absolutely love the challenge these challenges provide me, especially don't touch anything, i t took me about 3 hours to get gold XD
@@hiroitazura-o3124 The best part of these challenges, at least to me, is that there's so much untapped potential. I'd love to see a standalone game where some more ideas get explored in greater detail - maybe they could have challenges where you lose coins gradually, and have to keep picking up more to stay alive, or a challenge where your controls are inverted. Either way, it would be great to see more of them.

Considering that there's quite literally infinite possibilities (thanks Ceave), and the entirety of super expert levels alone would be hard enough but you also have to go through any other level

9:03 In the original New Super Mario Bros. U, when they added the Wii U Pro Controller support in the New Super Luigi U update, because of how the Pro Controller has no motion controls, ZL and ZR are used for the tilting sections.
Thing is... because they're digital triggers, they utilise the maximum tilt when pressed meaning it may not be as precise as those motion controls.
Ask Nico to do ALL of these coinless :D

Im a couple years late but you overcomplicated paratroopa panic a lot. After you knock the wings off all of them and then make them go into their shells, you can spin jump off the wall and jump on the shells. It gets you a gold medal.

For paratroopa panic, after you hit all of the paratroopas into their shells you can just spin jump off the wall to make wayyyy easier

Ok, I agree with the list but if you try to get the gold medal in each stage the list would look different. These time attack challenges in the towers are so freaking precise for the gold medal.

If u ground pound u get a little bit more hight, wich you can use to jump UNDER coins and then u can ground pound to still get on to the platform.

The challenges are the same as the Wii U version so there's no reason to title the video Deluxe. Might as well have just played NSMBU because then we could've seen the Boost Mode challenges.

I know this is late, but I’ll put my opinion here anyways
10: I beat it after awhile, but it’s certainly in the top 10. It took me like 30 tries.
9: This level isn’t bad at all. This is the only level I beat when I was like 9.
8: This is brutal. Took me about 30 tries, like stoneslide.
7: I still have yet to beat this, but I’ve only tried it about a dozen times
6: This level is a complete joke.... it took me THREE TRIES (-_-)
5: I think this level is easier than some of the others. I’ve only tried it about 6 times and I think I’ll only need to try a couple more to beat it.

This is a really great game. I think it's the first one I've ever 100%'ed. Both Mario Bros U and Luigi U.
The paratroopa panic is really easy, just slide on the walls each time jumping on a ground paratroopa to get more time for the paratroopas to get out of their shell.

Cashless Castle Crawl was more difficult than Don't Touch Anything, mostly because of those two parts.
Bandy: paratroopa panic is very difficult

These are all harder than any final 3D Mario challenge. As long as you don’t find Mario Wii brutally difficult. Following a guide or someone else’s run of one of these challenges is pretty easy. Since a big part of it is just figuring out a strategy and trial and error.
Coming from someone who's gotten gold medals on every challenge in this game, a majority of the challenges are more about finding the right strategies for each part than they are about pure skill.
For example, the part you talk about at 11:15 or so in Cashless Castle Crawl is actually free if you know the right method. All you have to do is hold right until you get to the edge of the rightmost block and do a spin jump while still holding right and you will literally make the jump without collecting any coins every single time, because the spin jump goes the same height up every time.

8:50 it's one of the easiest,just go faster than the elevator,it will instantly come to you even if coins are on it,the coins woll also disappear
