  • Kirchhoff's Circuit Laws help us understand how current and potential difference acts in circuits. We use them to show how current acts when it enters a node or a junction and how the loop rule show that potential difference is equal at all points of a parallel circuit.     how we end up with I1 and I2 values which are 0.73A and 0.9A can you show the math please :))

    Rather than labeling the current going through R2 as I1-I2, would it have also been acceptable to label it as I3?

      You could. But as I discussed, that would then give you three unknowns. You would now need three equations to solve the system of equations. It can be done.. but a ton more math
