Thank you so very much for this sublime video, as you helped a plethora of students, including me, understand the concept with proficiency. May you have a sublime rest of your day/afternoon/night.
I have a question what if you had that single resistor accross on the other side of the circuit? Like right next to the + terminal on the battery? would that be still the same? does the direction where the current flows change the in series resistor value? I hope you understand what i am trying to ask here. thanks
from reading the creators response to qs, he comes off as a$$h0lish...but a lot of intellectuals (or higher than avg intellect) have limited patience and/or sensitivity.....however, you're not here to make new friends; you do your job WELL, your videos are concise and simplify every sector you cover.....would love to see you cover the more advanced part of the electrical spectrum (maybe some system harmonics, logic control etc)...I remember years ago in physics 2 I learned about flux capacitance etc, so thought maybe you might be familiar with the subject...thanks in advance

i respect and love your videos
they are really helpful if you can can you please do differentiation
and anti - differentiation
I am having trouble finding my solution because I only have power known for my total and r1
This just LITERALLY SAVED MY GRADE, Thank you for uploading this video. Deserves a like. I understand how this works now.
Glad it helped!
Thanks for saving me... I was going to fail my test without this video
i love u. you just solved my problem after about 45 minutes of looking for someone that could explain this to me
Cheers

Glad it was helpful!
Really educational video ,really helped me find another way to solve other problems like these in this section of work and I just wanted to thank you
You’re very welcome
amazing explanation kept very simple and straight to the point, Thank you
Glad it helped
You're way better than my teacher
Thank you for the kind words
16/10 would probably physics again 🗿
Great basic and helpful video
Glad it was helpful!

To find the total current, can't we just do total Voltage / total resistance?
Yes
hey, how would you do this if you weren't given the voltage at the battery, but the current through the third resistor?
V=IR
How did you get 2/6? 1/3+1/6 gets me .50 or 1/2. How did you get 2 for that resistor?
Typo. Look at the other comments
Saved meeeee
Glad to help. Please share
What if there is no resistors, just bulbs?.
Bulbs are resistors
You cant just split voltage like that in parallel structure
Correct. Potential difference is equal everywhere in parallel.
what if you don't know r1 resistance though?
Question will be harder
But what if you don't know one of the resistors??
Solve for it🤔

Thank you…. I think🤷🏻♂️🤣. I can assure you, I’m very kind 🤙🏻
I GOT 1.5 AMPS
ok
