    You should contact one of the people in the CIA/FBI and do a geo guesser tournament against them. (Preferably retired, went to school for it and didn't get in, or dropped out because they might not do it if they're still active)

      that would be sick. I actually think he underestimates his skill as someone who doesn't do it for work but rather does it for fun

    • @MrMpakobec
      @MrMpakobec ปีที่แล้ว +116

      I think he underestimate himself. Sure CIA/FBI have people that can achieve the same or even better results in figuring out locations from a picture with all their training and access to information. But they will most likely lose in speed with which they can do it compare to professional geoguesser players.

    • @LightsTeamEuphoria
      @LightsTeamEuphoria ปีที่แล้ว +178

      Rainbolt would annihilate any of them. The truth is Geoguessr is a very specific skill that must be practiced. Nobody in the CIA/FBI has that skill, because it isn’t in the job description. They are good with detective work, so maybe they could do pretty good if they were allowed to move but I don’t think they’d be anywhere close to pro level. I think people misunderstand what the CIA/FBI/NSA do 😂 They focus most of their energy domestically so pinpointing places around the world wouldn’t work out too well. Foreign intelligence is more refined to people and groups, not so much geography.
      It’s funny he mentioned he’s been hit up from bounty hunters, because actually that would be one of the closest things to Geoguessr, they constantly use social media posts to track down their suspect. But even that is usually a local thing.
      Point is, Geoguessr is a unique skill. Nobody is pro level good unless they’ve played for a meaningful amount of time.

If not what was or is someplace that you've always been excited to visit, even since you were young. Examples could be world wonders like the pyramids, the Moai, Machu Picchu...

    Often in GeoGuessr you can guess the country and the place in the country where a photo was taken in just 0.1 seconds and on top of that the image is altered in a way that makes it difficult, like sometimes it is black and white, sometimes the image is blurred, etc. This is really impressive and many assume that the videos where this happens are fake, so I wanted to ask: Do you have a natural ability to recognise patterns in things and quickly too? Is what makes you guess the country right just by looking at an image for 0.1 seconds just training? I, for example, barely have time to reason out the colours of the image in those situations...

    I also get asked why a lot when I do go solo. I know traveling with a friend or family member would obviously be safer but it is kind of annoying how a lot of people seem to treat solo travel like an alien concept. My motto is still: as long as you do your research of the place you're visiting and be careful where you go and what you do, why not?

    Have you ever considered Serbia as your home for a month? Weather is relatively worm and food is amazing. Also it's the home of Alok the OG

    Everytime I hear someoneone say "travelling" I really want to do it. I'm still trying to figure out what I have to do to be able to travel wherever and whenever. I'm stuck thinking about how can I earn money to do it while doing something I like.
    I love that you've found something you enjoy doing, and were able to do it, that's hard

    Since you're traveling so much (you probably already know this) but make sure you have enough pages in your passport that are left blank! Some countries require you to have 2-4 blank pages! Airlines sometimes wont even let you on if you don't meet the requirement.
