    hi Amaru, loving all of your recipes. How long do you cook your salted beef (500gr)? I have tried it a few times but it's always chewy

    • @foodandthesingleguy
      @foodandthesingleguy  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi there, well, you have to boil it twice actually. The first time you need to bring the water to a boil and let it cook for a good half an hour to 45 minutes. Then you throw away that water, add fresh (warm!) water to the meat and boil it for a second time. You then cook it until the water has been evaporated almost completely ;)And it will always be somewhat chewy, but your teeth should not be doing too much chewing, if you know what I mean ;)

    Please, what is (Bitter Green) and what's the Botanical name for your Bitter Green??? Is it the same with the African (Bitterleaf)??? Hope to hear from you soon, and God bless you. Thanks!!!

      shebad10 Well, now you're here, so WELCOME ;) And I am a very clean cook. You know how people say men are messy cooks... NOT this one, lol ;) It drives me nuts when the kitchen is dirty or the stove looks like a hurricane aftermath... NO MA'M, I need me some clean cooking space ;)
