I really need a book list! Maybe an idea for a new video? Books for beginners on self- diagnosis, how to communicate, maybe a top 5 or 10 books.... The podcast is on the list! I really hope you make a booklist video! Thank you again!
I don’t think I’ve ever done that, but it’s a really good idea! I had really buried my issues with social interactions and honestly was even fooling myself in some ways that I didn’t have a problem. It’s a very vulnerable/embarrassing thing for me that I wouldn’t admit even to myself.
We all cope differently that's for sure. I'm an info gatherer and a natural DIYer. So reading books on how to be human logically followed for me! But seriously, there are some really great resources out there!
@@i.am.mindblind thx for responding! And I’ll definitely do a list of traits I have and share to the person evaluating me and can’t wait to see your results !
I have a a lot of traits /symptoms and my therapist believes I am to but my mom said I hit my milestones do you have to miss some to be on the spectrum cause I wanna get evaluated
Nope! My kids hit all their developmental milestones. Some autistic people actual reach some early. Like learning to read early (called hyperlexia.) What I did was watch lots of content from autisic people and whenever I related to a trait I wrote it on a list. When I had over 70 items on my list, I decided to get a formal evaluation. I've done the tests and my feedback session is in about a week and half. Subscribe and turn on notifications to get an update on that!
