This is a great stereo wireless pack and it performed great in my tests. I also compare it against other popular packs in the video so stay tuned for the audio comparison section. This was way cooler that I expected. The bad part is that reverb option makes it a total deal breaker for me. It's like a mouse trap that can cause you to have destroyed audio rendering footage totally useless. I am surprised a manufacturer would allow something like that to damage their sales and they would have such a destructive mode right there and so easy to engage - what were they thinking? It immediately makes it a "don't buy it" product. Thumbs up on a great video, thumbs down on this mic, shame too, it's nice and small 👍👍👍
Thanks, Peter! Yeah the reverb is a disaster waiting to happen. I shot quite a few parts of this video before doing it this second time with Reverb on.. 😆 Otherwise, it's a great little pack. I guess now I am aware of it, it's a bit easier to manage but yeah, it can ruin the audio big time.
S5II? It seems like the AF was quite distracting in this video surprisingly. Definitely needed to stop down the parts with super blurry background, you couldn't even see the device you were trying to focus on. Time for a G9II :D Cool unit, super cheap! You always find these great little units
haha. Yeah, it was hard to see due to the glare and I had the AF set to a standard mode which ended up focusing on the closest thing to it for the close up shots. I should have used an area mode. It looked fine on the day, but I couldn't go back and re-shoot it all. haha. G9II might be on the way ;-)
@@GeekyNerdyTechy I mean Toneh is cool and all but in key moments it's just too much, you need to show a complete product sometimes not just the razor's edge your lens is focused on 😛 You know you could stop it down to f2.8 once in a while haha
A little unrelated to this video, but i think itd be nice in a review for these type of wireless mic combos to test them in a crowded room or field. Cause yeah it works great line of sight but also without ppl obstructing it. In a real application there will be ppl in the room or area and any amount of ppl will affect signals. Obviously have someone with you to watch over your stuff but say set up the mic and camera in one corner of a coffee shop and then try to order something normally. Itd be a great stress test on distance, ppl in a room, and wifi/radio signals that are common in practically any venue. Great job on the video tho 👍
Hi. Thanks for the review. Just wanna ask if you're planning to give one of these mics away. It fits perfectly into my workflow and i would really appreciate the handout😅🙏

Isn’t this the guitar guy??
You must have a style.... your signature style.. in the beginning & ending of the video... decide and do it in your next video.....
I'll take that onboard with trailing full stops.....
