Great video! Yep, I went from 13 Pro Max to 15 Pro Max and can concur that the battery usage from the Camera is a lot more significant in the 15, the results from the camera are also significantly better though so I guess the extra power draw goes towards something 🤣
The 13 Pro Max is still an iPhone I highly recommend to most people who want flagship iPhone performance without having to pay a high price, it is the Nokia N95 of iPhones, great all rounder/solid phone overall while still getting Pro features. I would happily recommend the 13 Pro Max over the Plus models.

12pm is good rn but not in 2 years, so just get iphone 13 its cheaper than the pm and its better in long term.
The after effects such as when you said “BUT” and the camera zoomed in not to drastically but very evident really immerses us into your videos. The effects you add into this video may not be noticed by us viewers but it makes you videos really pleasing for the eye. Continue this good work!!

i upgraded from a 13 pm to a 15 pm and I've definitely noticed the battery drain when using the camera for long periods of time. However the overall battery seems much better as some days I'm left with 50 percent in the 15 pm at the end of the day and only 30 percent on 13 pro max.

All 7 iPhones in the video had 100% maximum battery capacity (brand new).
The camera requires significant processing power so it's not surprising that it drains the battery, I was just surprised by how much it did.
It’s bc the 15 pm has a more advanced camera than the other 15’s. Still has good battery which is why the 15 plus had the lead

I've had my 13 Pro Max coming up to 2 years this summer in July. It also happens to be my first iPhone and I was reccomended I get it for the amazing battery life and I haven't been disappointed. But while I'm home on wifi I still use my Samsung galaxy a71 which also helps save the iPhone battery life more.
The Styling of your iPhone Showcase blew me away. In Generell your Video Quality was on a level of a 1 Million Sub TH-camr. Keep up your great work.

Few notes:
• Could have been better if we see a comparison of how long do you need to charge the iPhone vs how long would you be able you use it with a full battery percentage.
• Would be nice to see the hours it would take if we will charge the iPhones, that were drained and used for the battery test, up to 80%. That way, regular user, like me, would know if it would last for a normal working day (while on shift) + wake up routine + after work hours routine.
Hope you would include these suggestions in your next battery test now that iPhone 16 line up is out.
it is sad that plus models didn't sell well. but I am using 15 plus and I am genuinely impressed with performance and battery timing. Didn't felt the need of pro phone at all.

Completely agree, you are first TH-camr who said about massive camera drain on 15 Pro Max, plus it heats like crazy. All heating issues are gone but camera heats up like a stove.
I was surprised by the battery drain but that doesn't make me regret using the 15PM as my daily. It is a beast of a phone so it makes sense it sips battery like one too haha.

I’ve had my 14 pro max for almost two years now, sitting at 89% battery health, this phone battery still lasts enough to go the whole day, considering it’s a casual day of course, I love love lovee this phone

Production quality is amazing bro, but I’d suggest running the test once more if not with all the phones, with some of them instead using mobile data instead or a mix of both. My 13 Pro Max is great on Wi-Fi, but can drain a tad bit quicker on cellular. Would love to see that some time.

I'm using smaller 13 Pro, the battery is insanely great (2 days use between 85% and 25%)! I can't imagine how long 13 Pro Max last with such a beast!

Please Try comparing pro max’s on reduce motion(60hz) with their plus models! To get the exact battery results!
Nobody uses 60hz on pro tho
My initial script planned to run the test twice. One where each phone can reach its full potential and a second run where the Pro Motion phones are constrained to 60Hz. I decided against it for several reasons:
(1) Double the time and storage to create the video
(2) Most people who buy the pro phones rarely constrain it to 60Hz. I interviewed several people I know with Pro Maxes and people didn't even know how to disable 120Hz.
(3) If people would regularly constrain to 60Hz, they really should consider the 15 Plus. Legendary battery performance.

Great video and well put the together. Keep in mind the 15 plus wins because the refresh rate is at 60hz. I bet if the refresh rate was lowered on all of the Iphones then the results would be more interesting. I do like the way that these battery tests was conducted.

Considering the 13 PM runs at 120hz but kept up with the 60hz 15 Plus, is incredible, meaning if you ran 13 PM at 60hz, it will last the longest.
