Amazing how a car can make you feel
I put my daughter through underage driving lessons when she was 16 and would take her to Hamilton Race course most weekends so she's always been a bit of petrolhead like her old man, I still mind that sheer excitement when she passed her test and got her first car.
To some people it's just a form of transport but for us it's a lot more than that, it's memories and emotions.
PMSL Plod behind a Cossie, just like old times.

Love your channel. Would be happy to just watch the Cosworth stuff. However I’m biased, I love ‘em.

What a wonderful film you made of that great car. Brings back so many memories for me too Rob, the sound of that exhaust and turbo is installed in every old boy racer of years past. Memories are made of these motors guys, great job. Cheers.

Sounds like it’s miss firing a little bit when the boost properly builds, sounds abit like boost cut at the end of the video.

Sounds like the Actuator could be playing up, my old Series 2 Rs Turbo did the same thing turned out the actuator was spun

Your smile is infectious Rob, I’ve never driven one but feel as if I have now.
Who’d have thought it, the tonic for these troubled times is an RS Cosworth at full chat. Keep smiling mate. 😁

My first car was a 86 xr3i in black. I put the rs body kit on it to look like the series 1 rs turbo. Then I moved on to a series 2 rs in grey. I spent a fortune on the car. The fastest craziness I've ever driven. Front wheel drive 248bhp in 96 was made. The hot hatch seen was epic. A think never to be seen again. Max power revs. Haha good time. What a coZy mate. Awesome 👍

That grin & feeling is what its all about mate. Takes you back to that first car you ever really built and that feeling you got when you drove it. Built not bought!
