  • Julia Zimmermann, CEO of Terraplasma, is channeling space-based research to the medical field.
In recent years, we have seen a rise of bacteria which can survive even the strongest of our antibiotics. Fortunately, space-based research from the International Space Station has helped develop new cold plasma-based therapies that would keep patients safe from infections and treat chronic wounds without damaging tissues.

Studying shallowly about cold plasma, found this. This clip really demonstrates nice topics and content.

Why the forth state and not the first state of matter?

The approach seems useful for many cases where sterilization is needed, but doesn’t address the actual issue at hand, ulcers and chronic wounds exist due to lack of blood flow and the energy needed to recover the injury. There are better ways to attack the actual issue at hand instead of reducing the infectious agents. In healthy people the immune system takes care of this job, boosting its energy and efficiency is key.

No mention of the mechanism of microbicide, nor why it does not do the same to human cells, nor the depth of penetration of the sterilization.

Kudos to the Editor Clown who failed to shoe the slide of the different cold plasma leaving the video as possibly just another scaffolding?
