Here is a fine rendition of a thumri in raga Manj Khamaj. - 21 July 2013 at Oranjerie Theater in Roermond, The Netherlands.
Music will one day unite the world. I am a 65 year-old retiree living in Montreal and I am transfixed by the beauty of this music. Kaushiki is a phenomenally intuitive singer to go along with her prodigious talent. Soumik is lights-out brilliant on sarod. Music for Peace.

So delicately expressed. Though many years separated from somewhere in Bharat, this thumri enlivens me thoroughly. A melodious voice accompanied by Sri Vijayji ]whom I had an opportunity to meet 26 years ago in Delhi] on tabla has greatly improved and an Englishman Sri Soumik Datta together with Sri Alla Rakha on Sarangi and harmonium accompaniment of that wonderful Srimati Parmomita Devi leaves me yearning to go back to my ancestral home. Heartfelt thanks to Mother India.
