Exponential performance which reminds me legendary Ustad Karim Khan sahib,Bade Gulam Ali Khan sahib, Ameer Khan sahib,Smt Girija Devi, Laxmi shankar. It reflects her profound penance.She is definitely a proud disciple of her Ustad who gifted the society such a beautiful and uncomparable gift to us and to whom I salute from my heart. Nobody can match her. When she conduct rare classical act like Taan,Sapaat, gummuck people might have felt I myself felt as it Maa herself is performing. This morning I woke up listening to Kaushiki's Bageshree , a third time. A radiance rent the veil of sleep. I felt I was passing through tall woods and my pace was measured by angelic Bageshree The space I covered matched three flights of her unleashed swars, and felt the seed of every righteous musical human preserved. She is TRADITION AND THE INDIVIDUAL TALENT. Never would lightning fall from blue cloud with such swiftness as it descends from the most distant limit in heavens to feather me, the listener on this anima mundi, in new plumage. My brain bears Bageshree She stamped.

This evening I listened to Kaushikiji 's Bageshri, fourth time. I felt gestated through rain bearing mercy clouds, and there was a drizzle! There is some unspelt out sound track we the audience are passaged through. How may we thank for such exalting experience, madam offers anew, everytime we listen to. !

your face and singing are simply divine... reminds me of what the Indian scriptures say about a classic, highly evolved Indian woman... I'm virtually speechless... as far as the experts finding flaws in gharana mixing and taan are concerned, I would say they all are just technique and nothing more... you are full of soul... may the infinite take you to the zenith of evolution.

I do not know the correct term but the subtle way in which she controls the vibrato in her voice is superior to that of most other singers (a few of whom - I hate to say - sound like they are trying to start their cars). Her vocal control is extraordinary. With Sri Chakraborty I don't simply listen but I pay serious attention.
