I've had my Tern D9 for almost a month now... And I owe it to this here video and the great presentation of Conor's introduction of the D9 as well... Thanks Conor bud appreciate it, a lot...😀👍...
Hi Xavier. How's the Verge been? I really want this bike but I'm a bit concerned with the skinny tires since I'd be coming from a Node D8 with Big Apple 24 inch tires. How do you like the ride comfort and quality so far? Thanks. Cheers!
@@Brandon-xp1ob Hi Brandon, just wondering if you did end up getting the Verge. Funnily enough I'm currently trying to decide between the Node D8 and Verge D9. Cheers. :)
Great Job on the review. One thing that many viewers might find useful is to give the dimensions of the folded size. This would help if you have a tight spot you wish to keep the bike in at a work space, closet, in a boat, small car trunk or in my case inside a bike trailer for flying.
are you guys gong to review the verge p10? and can you do a comparison between the p10 and x11? im seriously plan on getting one. but im bot sure the 1000 diff between the 2 is worth it
It's effectively the same bike, just like comparing puma and Adidas, it's just your preference in terms of design, what one bike have, the other might not and vice versa. Doesn't noticeably impact your journey by any means
Tern is better. I had a Speed D9 a few years ago and while it was a good bike, my Tern is much better. In all fairness i don't have the verge but basically all terns have far superior joints and ride quality. I'll be looking to upgrade my Node D8 to a Verge D9 soon. I won't go back to Dahon. Hope this helps. Cheers!
@@Brandon-xp1ob hey man, I'm just a casual cyclist and I've only read specs on paper, I want to buy a tern verge D9, and as have ridden these bikes first hand, my most important question to you is - can it ride on multiple terrain such as gravel surfaces with slight pot holes (I ride through a park) and not just smooth concrete/tarmac? I have a Tern Link B7 (yes it's very different and entry level) and it does the job but I just need that little upgrade to hopefully make it a more comfier and easier 7mile commute to work
@@UrbanChamp hello back. I'm sure it can handle a light gravel trail but nothing very extreme of course. I feel more confident on tern bikes. I do think Dahon is still good but for the similarly priced bikes I'd much rather have a tern. I test road a verge d9 and it did indeed feel similar to a full sized bike. Happy riding!
I love my bike D9, I have 5 Bikes but this one I really love to drive the most, greatings from Germany!

Glad to hear it, and thanks so much for the kind words! It's a great bike all around. - Connor

Thank you Conor for responding your presentation was awesome and convincing...
Still have it?. Any issues?
*Nice and easy to fold and unfold. I like the **Latest.Bike** of it components and so far it rides pretty well in pavement-ed trails*
bought it last Friday after seeing this presentation, loving it so far :)

Nice. I think I'm going to buy this one. I will need fenders though in my wet climate and a bike rack will be handy as well.

D9 does and behaves exactly like the review! Thumbs up!
Excellent review, well done.
Outstanding!
compared to Tern Verge N8?
Does rain effect the bikes function?
Is it good for uphills??
Can this bike handle light gravel roads?
This is good!
thanks for posting this video, i'm thinking of purchasing the Verge d9, it looks like a good bike to own and ride!
Thanks for watching! It certainly is a great choice, and has been one of our most popular bikes this year!

The P10 video is next don't worry!
NYCeWheels awesome! will be waiting!
NYCeWheels also the title says P9 but you are reviewinb D9 :p

I'm waiting for p10 review too :p
Coming very soon!
Tern verge d9 vs dahon speed d9, which better ??

@@UrbanChamp I respectfully disagree. The Verge frame is superior to the Dahon speed frame. It's $100 more but better.

The new ones have disc brakes!
There is a Verge N8
