She should be captured because her victims are those who have committed violent crimes not people who are violent criminals which means that if you ever were abusive in the past you are condemned even if you turn your life around and become a good person who truly regrets their actions

@@AngelDust6969 The story is that they both hated each other. The woman knew the demon from when she was still young and gained the ability to make him miserable well before they married. Regardless, I don't really think what she did was justified. I get wanting revenge but torturing your abuser for 300+ years for something you experience for, at most, an hour feels incredibly excessive. The uh, audio recording effects and sort of 'reason' behind the recording is a little goofy given the historical context of when the original documents would have been created (and obviously not 'recorded'); not gonna lie, it doesn't quite fit here. I get the intention, but it just doesn't quite work. It is pretty funny to imagine the Foundation hiring people to record this and getting a little too into their roles, though. Some Phd in Hostile Semiotics really wanted to be a Theater major and SEIZED THEIR MOMENT in this Foundation archival lab.
"the wicker witch" is contained though, just not the actual witch. they would be considered separate objects for containment, especially since they don't even fall under the same containment class.
Wouldn't it have made more sense to just read out the interview from the 1700s instead of treating it with different voices like it was an audio file considering they wouldn't have had any way to record it?
Hmm. The writing kept taking me out of this one, tbh. That diary was supposed to be written in the 1600's, but reads like modern day. Volgun's performance, however, was stellar as always.
It did say it was edited for clarity. I take that to mean that the language was made more easy to understand. Bearing in mind that the people for whom the entry was written don't have the time to work out what the content was. The original text would likely have been available for research purposes.
Is there an SCP that lets you listen to transcribed conversation as audio, or of the written word in the writers voice/as the writer imagined it sounding? Because that would be awfully convenient to explain these videos set before recordings for example.
So the skeleton in containment is the husband? So, do we know who is killing the people since containment? I hope that candance got her happily ever after.
@rd2680 you'd be surprised how many people in the comments have a problem with that. I'm happy scps like these exist if only to expose the vile weeds we have in the community. I don't much like the scp myself, but anyone who actually takes the side of the people who prosecuted Candace needs a long, long look in the mirror.

This is one of my favorite. Simple well done and a good twist
I leave my notifications on for this Chanel
I hope Candice and Clovis were reunited one day 😢
"Witches don't need...prayers."
Volgun, your Midland accent is almost perfect. You pronounce "rather" as "rawther" when it should be a short "a" sound (as in "bat"). Other than that, your accent is perfect to my ear
Not me wanting to be a voice actor the moment I heard “May God have mercy on your soul!”
I'm surprised she didn't drag the entire town with her into her domain so that she would torture them in perpetuity.
Reading the comments makes me suspect we have a few burning candidates among us.
15:05-Oh s%$%!
The true witch is still uncontained!
This scp should not have been classified safe in the first place!
"the wicker witch" is contained though, just not the actual witch. they would be considered separate objects for containment, especially since they don't even fall under the same containment class.
Yay, one of my favourites
Hey volgun love your videos dude will you be making anymore scp shorts, those were so cool.
Eventually yeah. I need to make more models to animate
@@TheVolgunyeaaaa🎉
Is there an SCP that lets you listen to transcribed conversation as audio, or of the written word in the writers voice/as the writer imagined it sounding?
Because that would be awfully convenient to explain these videos set before recordings for example.
These are meant to be read as edited transcripts of a written diary, the volgun is just hamming up the voice acting for the fun of it.
Can we please have an scp reading of SCP-3922 with the extended test logs?
So the skeleton in containment is the husband? So, do we know who is killing the people since containment? I hope that candance got her happily ever after.
No, she became the abuser at the first chance.
@@rottenmeat5934what do you mean?
She‘s killing abusers. You beat/harrass/kill your s/o? Better hope Candace never catches you.
@@Raikeran bro cause now she just goes around killing people whether or not they changed or grew out of their past abusive selves. Chronically online people in this comment section are like “oh Candice doing good things like a girlboss” are cheering on a legit indiscriminate murder lmao
What an inventive way to write a warning of the seduction AI will be bringing to humans like nothing they have ever experienced.
Grateful for my inclination to stay indifferent to my emotions and partial to imaginations with imagery.
I am a Candice Hayes and Clovis stan now
So, from my understanding, the wicker witch story itself is a cover. Meaning, the corpse is probably an abusive husband, but the exact creation around it is truly unknown. The characters in the letter are completely fictional and the situation also was.
NOT THE BEES NOT THE BEES!
Imagine if this was the scarecrow in the Wizard of Oz
That would have been a WHOLE different story. Makes me think of the Dr. Who scarecrows a little, but with a more fiery temperament 😉
It would have been a complete 180 from the original plot lol.
The scarecrow in the wizard of oz was packing a different kind of heat at least
THATCHER'S BACK?!?
Look forward to this every sunday
8:47 take my time. Am I evil?
Man I wanna make an actual scp page sometime but the one time I tried to get greenlit the only reply was a little harsher than I expected which scared me from trying again :) (note; not all scps have to have their existence explained, thats the whole point of mystery)
Yeah, the feedback forums are dead, and the site is full of elitist pricks yelling „you should have gone to the feedback forums first“ while they themselves refuse to go there.
@@ArDeeMeeOh my gosh thank you, I thought I had made a mistake or something, I guess that's what it's like all the time 😭
@@angelcakeart That was the state two years ago. With all those thousands of existing articles a certain sluggishness has set in. The SCP is like any fandom, 95 % just „grow out of it“ eventually and move on. That’s why the userbase deflated so much after lockdowns were lifted.
I don’t really have a solution to this, it’s just basic site degradation over time. As long as it remains up, and I can re-read my favorites, that’s just the state it will be in. 🤷♀️
Just write your spooky stories somewhere else. Replace all SCP jargon with substitute lingo, ie. Instead of "SCP/object", use "the entity, specimen," etc. I can't tell you a good place to post it, but I hope you find one. The SCP site is extremely picky on who is allowed to write anymore, and you'll get shat on if your entry isn't a 4D-extra-dimensional metaverse-spanning jargon-filled epic by this point.
@@bugjamsThat is a great idea! I really hope a more positive and creative community will form in the future that can spawn more new things that the scp community just isn't anymore
as someone who beats their spouse, this scp really unnerved me!

Sounds like a witch made a deal with a demon and is burning for eternity. Good. ✝
I feel like you’ve done this one before.
Thought it was just me having a serious case of déjà vu
Nope, that’s Dr. Bob and SCP Explored.
Nah mate, that was another burning skeleton man
I’m not joking there’s at least two burning skeleton skips
8:30 Holy shit
