Great cover, very good job in the instruments, and the voice... just wow. Thanks for invite to watch your band, great job, congratulations. Grettings from Chile.
NIce job guys. Great to see younger peeps playing great stuff like Rush. The only thing I'd say is the tempo was a little fast at times. Drummer needs to sense that and keep everyone on even tempo as the song shifts from section to section, which is difficult.
That's pretty tight, all players know the ghost notes and nuances that RUSH used to write the song, and take it from me as a huge compliment because I've seen RUSH live 95 times!!! Tell the guitar player the phaser at 1:21 sounds great!!!

I was all ready to take the piss at this...let's face it...who could do 2112 justice?....but it turned out to be really good!.....well done to the singer or covering the stage for such a long time on her own ....that isn't easy!
@SteveUrkeI - Thanks! It's a combination of the bass itself (Warwick Katana NT), my Line 6 BassPOD XT Live and the backline amp at The Brixton (I think it was a pretty normal GK head). It all just sort of came together that night for some reason.
The Wick It is a 'Wick, one of the growliest basses I've ever played. I love Ricks, too, but they cost a lot and I'm still looking for a particular model...
Great cover, everyone did a great job, but the singer could've shrieked a bit more sharply in the intro, the way Geddy does in the All the World's a Stage version!
FclefRules - yeah, tempos sometimes get rushed in the excitement of the moment. Humans, right? :-) The bass tone was a result of me using the house rig (which had no compressor) and my Line6 pedalboard (with no compression), so I"m going to give some side-eye to the house sound guy for that one. Plus, God only knows what TH-cam has done to the original sound...
Huh. Another poster down the thread said the bass tone was awesome. Oh, well... everyone's got an opinion. BTW, you do know I'm the bass player, right? :-) Oh, did you mean NO power in her voice? Go about four minutes in and check it out again... or not. Not everyone's tastes line up. Thanks for sharing, though!
It was the house rig, not my own amp. I had about one minute to adjust the tone before we had to play. It's more aggressive and distorted than my usual tone, but I still kinda liked it. Oh, well...
Excellent !!!
NAILED IT😊
Amazing. Bravo. Brava!!!
This was an impossibility in the universe 20 years ago.....(2112 cover with hot female singer). :-) Great job!
fantastic cover of a classic
I would kill to see a band suddenly rip into a Rush cover and blow the roof off like these guys did. Great Job
Kill anybody yet?
Sounded good.
Awesome!
You folks were great! Thanx for sendin' it to me. Have a blessed Easter! Cheers!
Fuck yes!!!❤
Excellent!🙂
I have always wanted to see 2112 be sung by a lady...great job...you have
assumed control of this great RUSH song!!
🤘🤘 No words necessary!
Great cover, very good job in the instruments, and the voice... just wow. Thanks for invite to watch your band, great job, congratulations. Grettings from Chile.
this shit is on FIRE! Spot on guitar effects and killer playing! Your vocalist is amazing. Phenomenal job...
Good cover, great vocals!
Good Stuff
DAMN....I've got chills...Wish you'd done the whole thing! Tough song to cover, but you guys could nail the whole tune I think!
Great cover! You rock. :)
Brings back memories--my brother and I used to play this on drums & guitar.
This was absolutely phenomenal! the music, vocals, the feeling behind both.... amazing!
She sounds like a Chipmunk.....Hard pass here....
Great job.
Nice. Well done.
This is awesome. In fact... This is so awesome, it makes other awesome things seem only somewhat spectacular by comparison.
Fucking great cover !!! Not many can do this !!! Awesome
Thanks! Keep an eye out for our new album, coming in 2018!
Really great work
Leonardo Guzman Thanks for your feedback! We love Rush so it was fun to learn and play.
Great job all around!
NIce job guys. Great to see younger peeps playing great stuff like Rush. The only thing I'd say is the tempo was a little fast at times. Drummer needs to sense that and keep everyone on even tempo as the song shifts from section to section, which is difficult.
man she got some pipes, Rush should get her to sing for them
A wonderful attempt... Kudos for taking on a band that's very hard to cover, and doing it well
Awesome work!
MrDrumzncymbalz Thanks! It is appreciated!

sicc
Well done.
Thanks! We're actually working on a new album to be released in 2018. Watch this space...
It's a new RUSH !!!
this does sound like the original- I love it.

Pretty badass cover if I do say so myself. Only complaint was the "heys" that started at 3:00
Amazing! On the Instruments, the vocals are Unworldly good!
Oh okay ,thank you for the information ,
but I'm still not going to give up as lead singer of lady zep.
Thanks for the kind words, Kurt. I thought you had seen this a long time ago, for some reason...
Thanks!
Thanks for the compliments! I'll let him know.

@lifesonfan - So glad you liked it! We worked prett hard on that cover to make it sound as good as we could. Still not perfect...
Is she the girl from Lady Zep?
That's Melissa Jane and yes, that's her. She's a member of Final Gravity, Synn, Lady Zep and more.

Does this viedo mean I finely get to be the lead singer of lady zep? please reply and im there. :)
Well, this video >is< from 2011, so I think you might be a little late... ;-) MJ has many projects and is still in Lady Zep.
Great job on this, but I've yet to see any singer (female or otherwise) come close to Geddy's high range and strength on this song
You guys were great. The crowd should all be kicked in the head.
That sour note though
The Bass had a great tone, no matter what others said. Almost Ricki.
The Wick It is a 'Wick, one of the growliest basses I've ever played. I love Ricks, too, but they cost a lot and I'm still looking for a particular model...
@runekey - yeah, the audience pretty much failed to sing along. Oh, well... sometimes things don't work out exactly like you want, right?
Great work. And your guitarist does look a bit like Neil Peart!
tubemann90125 Thanks for the compliment! I always thought Mike looked more like Geoff Downes from Asia, myself.
More reminiscent of Steve Hackett than Neil Peart to me.........
@mouthyweasel Actually, I think Ged sang it higher than she did back in the day :)
Great cover, everyone did a great job, but the singer could've shrieked a bit more sharply in the intro, the way Geddy does in the All the World's a Stage version!
Mein Gott.... Muss das sein??
I have seen more lively bunches of people...
A little fast and a little too much compression on the bass. Otherwise....NICE JOB!
FclefRules - yeah, tempos sometimes get rushed in the excitement of the moment. Humans, right? :-)

Its alright, but the vocals are the weak point in the cover for me. Just not sold on female rock/metal vocals
why do DW drums always sound like shit? Neils DWs sound horrible. everyone should play Ludwig i say. but overall this gal kills it.
That was the supplied backline drum kit (except for cymbals and snare, which was a Pork Pie, if I recall correctly).
Bass sounded really bad, most disgusting bass I've ever heard and she had so power in her voice.
Huh. Another poster down the thread said the bass tone was awesome. Oh, well... everyone's got an opinion. BTW, you do know I'm the bass player, right? :-)
Oh, did you mean NO power in her voice? Go about four minutes in and check it out again... or not. Not everyone's tastes line up.

charlzm
Didn't like the sound of the bass, no how it was played.
It was the house rig, not my own amp. I had about one minute to adjust the tone before we had to play. It's more aggressive and distorted than my usual tone, but I still kinda liked it. Oh, well...
i think all the bloody tones were good...fuck that...u guys did a good job...kick the fucking door down!
Ugh
Err... huh?
