Despite the fact she was young and beautiful in the 1960s and 1970s, however, she made many heavy unforgettable important movies concerning social and political problems. It is very sufficient to tell you that up until now whenever there is a comedy or tragedy movie of hers broadcast on TV we Arabs (particularly Egyptians) sit in front of the TV until the movie finishes. She had an unrepeatable charismatic personality as if she had a magnet in her face grabbing the watchers’ attention and willingness to stay looking at her until the movie finishes. Despite all the happiness that she has brought to our hearts, she suffered a lot during her life. In the 1960s, there were the in-Egypt widely known so-called “intelligence agency deviance”. Throughout the 1960s, the intelligence agency was blackmailing thousands of people (including most actors, actresses, and singers) by videoing them while having sexual relationships to coerce them to work for the intelligence agency. Unfortunately, Soad Hosny was one of those actresses. Many videos were taken for her during a sexual relation with her beloved in 1964. She was recruited and compelled to work for the intelligence agency. After the defeat of 1967, all military leaders, including the intelligence agency chief, were arrested for corruption. They were all sent to trial. Ever since, these actions of blackmailing by the intelligence agency have been called as “the intelligence agency deviance”. The chief of the intelligence agency, alongside many of his men (specifically Safwat El Sherif) were sentenced to forever prison. But, in 1975, they were all freed by a presidential decree issued by Sadat. Safwat El Sherif who was the first responsible one for Soad Hosny’s blackmailing started to elevate the ladder of power until he was ordained minister of media in the 1980s. After his freeing, he started to blackmail Soad Hosny anew because he still had her videos. In 2000, she decided to write her diary, in which she must have written about the deviance and Safwat El Sherif in particular, in response to Safwat El Sherif’s refusal to help Hosny get remedied from an illness in her back (because at the time, Soad Hosny had stopped acting 10 years before because of her illness which led her to a deep financial problem). She was at the time in London. She died due to very dusty and mysterious circumstances. Officially, it was said that she committed suicide by throwing herself from her hotel room’s balcony. Yet, popularly, it is known that she was murdered through intelligence agency men sent by Safwat El Sherif to her room who threw her from the balcony. Notably, Safwat El Sherif lost his influence when the 2011 movement in Egypt erupted. He was imprisoned and suffered from cancer for several years in prison (his family said he was not allowed to be hospitalized nor properly cured) and passed away last year. May her soul rest in peace. She was a legend. She was not a singer as much as she was a very professional actress. Despite the fact she was young and beautiful in the 1960s and 1970s, however, she made many heavy unforgettable important movies concerning social and political problems. It is very sufficient to tell you that up until now whenever there is a comedy or tragedy movie of hers broadcast on TV we Arabs (particularly Egyptians) sit in front of the TV until the movie finishes. She had an unrepeatable charismatic personality as if she had a magnet in her face grabbing the watchers’ attention and willingness to stay looking at her until the movie finishes. Despite all the happiness that she has brought to our hearts, she suffered a lot during her life. In the 1960s, there were the in-Egypt widely known so-called “intelligence agency deviance”. Throughout the 1960s, the intelligence agency was blackmailing thousands of people (including most actors, actresses, and singers) by videoing them while having sexual relationships to coerce them to work for the intelligence agency. Unfortunately, Soad Hosny was one of those actresses. Many videos were taken for her during a sexual relation with her beloved in 1964. She was recruited and compelled to work for the intelligence agency. After the defeat of 1967, all military leaders, including the intelligence agency chief, were arrested for corruption. They were all sent to trial. Ever since, these actions of blackmailing by the intelligence agency have been called as “the intelligence agency deviance”. The chief of the intelligence agency, alongside many of his men (specifically Safwat El Sherif) were sentenced to forever prison. But, in 1975, they were all freed by a presidential decree issued by Sadat. Safwat El Sherif who was the first responsible one for Soad Hosny’s blackmailing started to elevate the ladder of power until he was ordained minister of media in the 1980s. After his freeing, he started to blackmail Soad Hosny anew because he still had her videos. In 2000, she decided to write her diary, in which she must have written about the deviance and Safwat El Sherif in particular, in response to Safwat El Sherif’s refusal to help Hosny get remedied from an illness in her back (because at the time, Soad Hosny had stopped acting 10 years before because of her illness which led her to a deep financial problem). She was at the time in London. She died due to very dusty and mysterious circumstances. Officially, it was said that she committed suicide by throwing herself from her hotel room’s balcony. Yet, popularly, it is known that she was murdered through intelligence agency men sent by Safwat El Sherif to her room who threw her from the balcony. Notably, Safwat El Sherif lost his influence when the 2011 movement in Egypt erupted. He was imprisoned and suffered from cancer for several years in prison (his family said he was not allowed to be hospitalized nor properly cured) and passed away last year. Both met before the Just and All-knowing God Who at Him no one gets oppressed and all oppressed get their right back. May her soul rest in peace. A very special video IJayReaction.
