If I could be in charge of entire planet, I'd literally make it crime free. How? It's quite simple, if you get caught stealing / robbing / mugging / raping / assaulting (or any similar type of crime) and it's undeniable evidence, such as police footage, then depending on how serious the crime is, your finger or fingers will be cut off and not in hospital, but right there on the street and then you're left to deal with it yourself with no help from paramedics. If you get caught stealing again, then your entire arm will be cut off and 3rd time you'll be decapitated in public place and left there on display for others to see what happens if you don't get the message. I'd like to see anyone try and steal ever again if such punishments are being carried out world wide. PROBLEM with crime, is that punishments are not even punishments. If I go and steal cars for whole year long, I know that even if i get caught, i'd only get maybe like 1 year max and if it's first time, most likely i'd get some community service and slap on the wrist .. while in that year I could literally steal like 500k - 1 million worth of luxury cars. I saw in a previous episode that this heli was used to chase a bicycle thief. The heli itself costs 1 million pound, but flying around with them for one hour is also VERY expensive. Isn't it a bit farfetched to use them for minor thefts like bicycles, while at the same time, large drug smugglers are making millions too and are also flying with their own heli sometimes. Nothing against "sending a signal" and all that, but I'm not convinced the Met is always concentrating on priorities with the limited resources.
