Heycel well for my dad even though he served in war he like fps games he says they are fun and he really likes the one realistic because they are accurate to real war.
@Heycel I play them on occasion to unwind from work. Right after I came back there were a few games I couldn't play because the realism was a little much at the time. That has slowly gone away and I use them to relieve stress as the tactics I know give me an advantage and I can almost let instinct take over and wind down from my day job.

I know it sounds backwards, but my best advice is lower your sensitivity by half, even more so when aiming, and you will find yourself hitting the enemy a lot more. It's even better if you have a mouse that can switch between high and low DPI by the click of a button so you can still look around quickly, but by a single click, shoot much more accurately.
Artillery is beautiful when you're not the one being torn to shreds.

@@dha5797 that’s a pretty simplistic view of things. We invaded that country on the presumption they had weapons of mass destruction which turned out to be a lie. They didn’t have anything to do with 9/11 either we just bombed their country because apparently war is profitable for a certain sect of society. Millions of civilians died from our bombing campaign the least you could do is shut your mouth if your understanding of foreign policy boils down to “Middle East bad”.
For all the people who don’t know this early day shooter game, “Six Days in Fallujah” it was an unreleased game originally made for the US Marines for training, tactical, and bonding purposes, but then was later decided to be released to the public. This game was way ahead of its time including the euphoria, game mechanics and just overall performance. It was a game that was going to be released exclusively for the Xbox 360 made by Atomic Games. But due to what the game was based on and how realistic it was, especially for its time since shooter games were still skeptical by the public, it brought the attention of families who lost sons in Fallujah, Iraq, to go against the game. They didn’t want other kids to be influenced by the violence and terror of war. Btw, this was a time where Konami was actually an investor, so the game itself would benefit due to the amount of money the dev team was receiving. But, when the public started going against the game, Konami backed out as an investor and the project was cancelled. The game was never released, until now. Though Squad is not third-person and is not the Atomic Games dev team, it gives us an experience to see what that game would’ve become, and how it could’ve benefit the entire game community, and possibly gave shooter games now, a more immersive and just a great experience in gameplay.
There is a documentary about this game as well, just search up “Six Days in Fallujah documentary” and it should be one of the first things that pop up

Razgriz❶ yes, but the families, ESPECIALLY the families who lost their sons went against it, like I said, fps and tps games were pretty much introduced during this time period so the public didn’t know if this was okay for children, after the release was cancelled, games like CoD and Battlefield were released, so even if the team wanted to, one they would be in a lot of debt, two, they couldn’t compete with Activision and EA DICE, and three, it would be at such a point where the game wouldn’t be irrelevant anymore because the trend at this time period was WW2 and Vietnam type games, so to answer your question, yes, soldiers did support the game, but they were outnumbered by the amount of families who lost their sons, and shooter games were a very skeptical genre during this time
I could understand not wanting to release the game publicly, but I can’t imagine they completely discarded it as a training program for actual soldiers. The first forces that went into Iraq faced an unusual battleground and a lot of casualties were suffered because they hadn’t fully understood how to fight that type of battle(aside from special forces, maybe). The training for situational awareness and being able to identify threats and dangers from every angle.
In the first Iraq war, Saddams forces fought like a regular army, not really utilizing the Guerilla tactics that insurgents employed in the second Iraq conflict.

playing on fallujah has made me realize they could totally go back to some of the older maps and improve the design with new assets in certain areas to give some of the maps a more diverse feel

How does it feel to put 100 players 50v50 instead of 40v40 I’m so happy with this update and can’t wait to get back into squad stopped playing about 6 months ago after being a player for about 5 years couldn’t be happier with this update :) and also forgot to mention this GREAT VID MAN keep up the good work :)

my father fought in fallujah, he tells me it was one of the craziest fights hes ever been in, its weird to see a game biased on the things that he and a lot of other people went through. awesome to see it though

Just call out where they are using some sort of easily distinguishable landmark and give them a compass bearing if they're close to you.

Just put in a few hours last night. Maybe 6 hours total in 2 years. Had a blast
Me and 2 squads took over a point and was holding out for a few. Then the enemy team starting moving in and we held our own. Then they sent in mortar rounds before an attack which got crazy. Finally they sent in some sort of air strike which got INSANE. Atleast 10 of us were inside screaming at the chaos and I was just healing my buddies non stop. They finally over ran us when we had too many downed guys and were able to push us out. Took maybe 15 mins. Was such a great experience.

Growing up in iraq in the early 2000s watching insurgents and US soldiers fighting everyday i must say this game really hits home. Good job whoever made this game 👍

Neither want or even tried to create a perfectly realistic experience. Battlefield could easily do this much better with better graphics, destructive environments, etc if they tried. But unfortunately this isnt a market big enough to entice the billion dollar studios.

this is insane, i remember being there in 2005. im def going to purchase this game for steam. crazy! i got chills going thru my spine thinking of the bad and the good of the moment i was there.
the sound design is very realistic, dynamic, and spacious. I love it!
The part after the bad frag sewer action reminds me of the the film The Rock when the last seal climbs up in to the shower block after his full teams wiped out.

The gameplay just looks so interesting with it being close quarters in ground level, but the moment you go up one story, you can see the whole city. It honestly looks like one of the best designed maps I've seen in a video game in a while

Hows the game to new players? I always played Insurgency, with mic., and enjoyed it. I really like this...real-airsoft feeling.

It would be so cool if trees and other parts of the environment could be destroyed by the artillery strikes. But then again these are the biggest maps and most players I have ever seen in a game so they have already put so much into this game

Legitimately interested, what is the game like? Is it especially hardcore/competitive, or is it slightly more casual? Is it crazy difficult or not?
I've been looking for a nice, relatively casual shooter to immerse myself in that I feel like I'm actually okay at, other games have been getting boring.
As far as PC "milsim" games go it's fairly casual, which is good IMO. Stuff like Arma is no fun to actually play. Difficulty depends on what you play now, if you're coming from COD/Battlefield or stuff like CS it's gonna be a steep learning curve (but fun). You rarely get a good look at the people shooting at you or even know where it's coming from.
