Hey Weaken, wondering if you could explain the shamans in a quick vid? Feel like it’s something most people don’t utilize and don’t know how to use properly
Thoth is almost perma picked in masters / GM in EU ranked. I perma ban him since 2 months ago when they buffed him. My team almost never knows where his damage comes from. It's so annoying to lose vs thoth because your team is CONSTNATLY dying and can't position or engage on top of him or even pick adequately to counter him.
Just a question about Janus. Say if you have a bad early and u opt for ajust your build rather then power farming, would u just change Book of thoth for a %Pen item to stay relevant mid game? Or better to comit to the build and play for the late game??
so i tested ob shard isn't as good as rod of tahuti on agni so the build you showed is fundamentally better. the first proc with ob is like 712 damage. after you do around 654. but with rod your first hit is low but it will almost always bring them under 60 percent health and you will always do 704 damage plus the extra proc. so rod is better damage wise.
Don't know if you'll see this since this video is 4 months old, but I'll ask my questions anyways. I'm completely new to Smite. I've got a few hours in and I LOVE the game. How do I go about learning how to build other than just by putting time in? I know most of it will come with time, but I don't want to throw every single game I play, or use the "Sorry I'm new" excuse as a crutch. Also, how do I decide what lane I want to play/learn? I've played a few joust games, but I haven't played conquest yet.. I've been watching a TON of your videos, I've learned a little just by watching some of them. I just hate being the reason my team loses.. Especially when the game has been out for so long. I feel like a MEGA noob.
builds are the last thing you learn in the game honestly. You copy what the best players in the game build. I have smitesource.com that I update with the builds everyone is using. Support/solo are the only roles whos builds actually change game to game on the same god, so watching top players/pros is how you learn that stuff
@@Weak3n Thank you! Like I said, I've watching a TON of your videos trying to learn what to do and not to do just by watching. I feel like watching old elo hells and the new ones help with that the most.
is agni a god you should be running cooldown reduction on? i recall you mentioning that chronos pendant is kindaaa coming back but you prefer just power pen, but agni feels like he needs chronos no?
This is just the opinion of a stranger, but I find the cd passive from Deso more impacful than Chronos cd passive. Chronos' passive is proccing all game and, in my opinion, becomes a bit excessive when you can clear with a single Flame Wave (2) or a single bomb (ult). Clear wave with one ability, go do side camp or a buff with your 3->2 or 3->4. For me, the cd passive is really only impactful when I have to use multiple abilities to clear. Once I can clear with a single ability, it becomes somewhat overkill. Spear of Deso will give a similar effect on cooldowns when I really need my cd's to be up, after a fight has been started and I have used my stun combo. The flat pen will make it so that abilities and item procs hit a bit harder, and the since you can start off a team fight with a stun, the more people you stun, the more opportunities that Deso passive can proc. For example, I don't need my Chronos passive going off when leaving mid to gank duo. My abilities will be up already and I don't much value from the Chronos proc unless I am using the 3 multiple times get there sooner. This is why I find Chronos to be so good on Janus, because you will be using your 3 to speed boost yourself two or three times when leaving lane to gank.
what do you think of the morigan, i saw somehwere on a post her ranked pick rate is high, is that just ranked being ranked or does she have some merit.
Morrigan is super high skill ceiling with basically no escape. Very good if you're good, especially since you can turn in to a fed god, but super shit if you're shit.
Could you do a guide on how to counter top gods? Like my team seems to have zero idea how to counter/deal with maman. Personally I have to ban Thor because I can’t compete vs him
its just something you learn with experience, maman can have her damage interrupted and peeled fairly easy so gods with quick knockups and good peel are good or else she melts backline. im not playing too much rn, so i dont know mamans counters. a really easy example is how ares would counter king arthur A LOT. i would very often pick ares into king arthur if i had a vulnerable backline so i could shut him down, back when he was really good. artio was also good then, and ares was great against her. he wasnt a top pick but he was a great counter. look for gods like that basically. they can utilize meta builds very well but have some niche that counters top gods in the meta. if you have a team thats something you guys need to learn. direct counters also arent super important, sometimes its good to play aggressive and pick a god that can match a meta gods aggression. sometimes a comfort pick that can play around a strong god like maman is important too
Is there ever a way to fit Divine into Janus' build? The only two items that feel like they could be subbed are Deso or SR, but is Deso too valuable for CD? And is SR too valuable for late game damage?
Im new to smite but I’ve been enjoying it and now wanting to learn how to play. I enjoy izanami and chaac. Any tips or recommendations that I should look into
Why wouldn't you go warlocks staff on kuku? It has percent pen gives your more power when stacked (almost without stacking too) without kuku passive plus then you add the mana it gives with kuku passive
Book of Thoth gives you more power when taking into consideration the passive that book has and the mana it gives you and it has flat pen on it. It also gives 775 mana which gives kuku power from his passive
Book of Thoth gives 775 mana and the passive turns 7% of mana to power. So in total from the stats it gives is 124 and that’s not counting the mana from the gods base stats or other items. And kukus passive is a mini book of Thoth passive so the large amount of mana gives him a lot of power
@skylarutd you do damage? Hello no one said anything about not doing damage weak3n even said you can throw a nado down when it's level 3 and rotate away you'd stack book first and stack warlocks off book?
