i want to buy guitar under 10-12k for learning i am a beginner i don't know much about guitar 🙂 my friend suggest me c80 and f310 tell me which one is better or tell me any other guitar ?
Both are great guitars in there own way, Yamaha c80 is a classical guitar with nylon strings. It will be easier to hold chords and wont hurt your fingers. The sound will be deep and mellow, however, you won't be able to able to adjust the neck as it doesn't come with a truss rod. Yamaha F310 is an acoustic guitar with steel strings and narrower neck, you might face some fatigue and finger pain as you start out but you will get used to it after few months. The sound will be brighter because of the steel strings and you will be able to able to adjust the neck as it comes with a truss rod. Depending upon your preferred style of music you can choose any one of them.
Cgx102 just has a built in equaliser to connect with an amp or audio interface, hence more costly. C80 has no electronic gadgets on board, hemce perfect for a small budget. Of course, you can always upgrade it later.
The C40 and C70 are practically the same guitar. The C80 is a bit better but still bottom of the range. These C-series guitars are great for beginners but they don't project sound very well.
Sir, how much it cost ??? Bcz it has different prices in different web. In bajaao it comes around 25k, in amazon 18k , in furtadose around 13k. What are the actual price sir ?? I'm in confusion.
As a beginner definitely go for c80 if it fits your budget. Else c40 is also a great choice. F280 has steel strings which might hurt your fingertips and has narrower neck which might difficult when holding chords.
It depends on the type of music you will play. If you want to play acoustic pop or rock, then go for the F280. If you want to play fingerstyle, classical music, then get the yanaha. If you buy the yamaha and try to play rock or pop you will be very disappointed, likewise viseversa.
Flamenco guitars have longer strings as the saddle is further back. This produces a nice careless flamenco sound comparatively speaking. Classical guitars are also well suited, especially for beginners. Yamaha does not offer a Flamenco guitar.
@@GuitarEternity considering that fender esc80 is same price ( 13k ) would you say that has better tone ? Also how much is tonal difference between C40 and C80 for that price bump ?
I can't comment on the fender as I never played it. However, between c40 and C80. Choose the c40 only if you are really tight on budget. C40 is actually less denser and less balanced in tone as compared to C80. Thus, a lower price range for the beginner/affordable segment. Depending on you want to achieve, I would recommend C80 over c40 any day. Fuller and rounder tone for a long term investment.
When I filmed this video, I had Daddrio normal tension - student edition strings. Now I have put Daddrio Pro Arte Series - Hard tension strings. Idea is not to switch string tension from light to extreme hard, but to switch it step by step just like from normal to hard tension. Keeps the neck profile stable.
No, it doesn't have a truss rod but it also doesn't need one. classical guitars don't have that much tension to deal with, unlike steel strings that must have a truss rod.

Thanks ! This's what I was looking for. Learned something new and looking forward to buy and start learning .
Glad it was helpful! Do check out the videos in the pinned comment if you want to learn more about its sound.
What is the action like?
Normally the beginner guitars have high action, but Yamaha seems like a good brand so maybe it's better.
The action is actually a bit high when you buy it. You will need to sand down the bridge saddle or nut in order to lower it as per your preference.
Thank you so much for this video. It was really helpful! ❤

Sir please tell me which one is better yamaha cx40 or c80..??
CX40 would be better if you want to plug in your instrument to an amplifier.
Is c80 better than c40 for the price difference of 4500/- should i really go for c80 over c40?
Yes, sound and ton-wise C80 is superior than C40.
Is this a solid top guitar
no, it's a laminated spruce top.
What's the different with Yamaha Cg102
Cgx102 just has a built in equaliser to connect with an amp or audio interface, hence more costly. C80 has no electronic gadgets on board, hemce perfect for a small budget. Of course, you can always upgrade it later.
Cg without x bro..
Is it worth to spend more on c80 rather than buying c40, as they have only one diffence?
Thanks in advance.
c80 for better sound. c40 for budget contraints.
The C40 and C70 are practically the same guitar. The C80 is a bit better but still bottom of the range. These C-series guitars are great for beginners but they don't project sound very well.
It is manufactured in China or Indonesia? It is written in sound hole
Indonesia.
What about c70? Is c70 sound better than c40 or no difference? And what is the difference between c70 and c80
Can't comment on c70 as I haven't played it. But better than c40 spec-wise.
How is the action of the guitar ? It is adjustable?
action is standard, can be adjusted by sanding off the bridge saddle.
What is difference between C-70 & C-80 ?
the C70 doesn't make sense, you either get a C40 or a C80
The C70 is a C40 with better machine heads. The C80 has Nato back and sides, making it a more quality sounding instrument.
cort ac100 or yamaha c80
Can't comment on that as I haven't tried the Cort.
Sir, how much it cost ??? Bcz it has different prices in different web. In bajaao it comes around 25k, in amazon 18k , in furtadose around 13k. What are the actual price sir ?? I'm in confusion.
Furtadose price is the best as it costed me around 12k after bargain.
F280 vs c80 which one i should buy .. ?? I have zero knowledge since i am a beginner

Does yamaha make flamenco guitar
Not sure, as I haven't seen one in person.
Flamenco guitars have longer strings as the saddle is further back. This produces a nice careless flamenco sound comparatively speaking. Classical guitars are also well suited, especially for beginners. Yamaha does not offer a Flamenco guitar.
Out of control, no sample of sound on the review video, instead im directed to more content
Apologies for not having an audio demo, please check out the video links in the pinned comment for the sound.
Wonderful video
Thank you! Cheers!
where I will get c-80, its unavailable
Hi, it is now available on amazon
Is there any smaller size buddy in c80
I don't think so, C80 is full size only as far as I saw on yamaha website. You can check out other guitar brands for smaller sized guitars.
is lack of truss rod a big problem ?
personally, i havent experienced any truss rod or neck bow issues in the past one year.

Hii, Does it have the Truss Rod?
No. Classical guitars do not have a truss rod.
@@GuitarEternity Some have but anyways thanks for the info.
What strings do you recommend on this guitar

Idea is not to switch string tension from light to extreme hard, but to switch it step by step just like from normal to hard tension. Keeps the neck profile stable.
EJ45 pro arte sounded choke to me so I switched to Augustine classic black. I upgraded the nut (wider string spacing) and saddle to both tusq
Maine amazon se purchase kia lekin bag nahi mila bag kaha se lu
buy separately from amazon only. search acoustic guitar padded gigbag.
Thankyou
can you tell me which gauge to use for string replacement?? I want to use stock gauge strings
normal tension from daddrio pro arte or student strings. easily available on amazon.
Could we play flamenco ? I need flamenco guitar for perfect sound but not available in india 🙄
Yes, of course, you can.
Not a flamenco guitar. Action is high.
if you wanna play flamenco go with the Cordoba C1M
@@nereus__you have this Cordoba C1M?
If you have how's the condition, sound, or and your flemenco journey?
This guitar doesn't have a truss rod...
yes it doesn't.

Ok fine body, let sound test.
