There are more restrictions in Otamatone than in Cello. One string, electric, volume control ...but these things motivate you to play. As a result Otamatone sounds more passionate. 👏

Damn. I have never heard the otamatone played seriously before. Sounds lovely, but I wish the attack of the notes was not so sudden and there was more dynamic control. Then it would be an amazing tool for emotional melodies in electronic music production.

Maybe I'm just too traditional (i'm now very old :) but, it seems to me that your precision is discernably better on the cello, however, the fact that you can make such a simple instrument as the otamatone almost 'sing' is, at least to me- (a lifetime professional vocalist) a rather startling testimonial to your mastery of the 'art' of being a true 'musician' in the highest sense of the term.
Omg the ONLY reason I'm buying one of these is because I love this song but I love the way it sounds on Loki with that weird instrument.... And I thought.... This is the "corona-conform" version of singing for solists or imagine a chorus with 30 Otamatones. Did this ever happened? Maybe in Japan? A Otamatone-chorus?
Can an otamatone be played like a cello or violin? I mean, if you put down first finger, and then the second finger without removing first, will sound the second note as a real string? What happen if touch the sensor in two o more diferent places?
I'm trying to play this on my Otamotone Deluxe like yours, I can follow along but I can't seem to hit the high D, how did you do it? Even using just my fingernail it's ever so slightly flat right at the top...I'd like to perform it live with a pianist ....
