  • Hello Viewers
In April, I got word that the Royal Gorge F units were on the train again. The next day after I received this, I drove down to the Royal Gorge, and there they were. With nose in the sun, 403 was ready to rock and roll. I stopped at the depot to get some B-Roll shots of it, including some cool idling noise. I then skipped over to 1st street, to see it pass. After catching it at 1st street, I drive to Parkdale, and catch it going passed me. After seeing Nick Valdez pull the train out of Parkdale, I make one last drive back to Canon City, and see the train pull into the depot. Stay tuned for future Royal Gorge videos, because things are going to get interesting...

When we rode this train a few years ago the F units were not on it nice to see them back. A story for you . My son rode on one of the dome cars when they were still in service with the Alaska railway and when we rode the train in the gorge it turns out we were on the same car we think it is kinda special

Wow what a story. What was the car number or such? I work for the railroad and i could see if they are the same cars.

We know we were on the same car because our son still had his ticket showing the car number and when we rode the cars had not been repainted and still had the Alaska numbers on them outside and in the doorway
