Yes, he did😿😿😿😿 This video + this song became a source of inspiration for me very soon after I saw it on VH1 in the early 2000s. True, finally in my fan story for this clip, I changed the order of mise en scenes, explained what was happening in my own way (even what Meat Loaf's character would not do for love) and in the text I made Meat's Beast with even more complex makeup.
"I'd Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That)" Video created by the great #MichaelBay with lyrics by #JimSteinman and performed by the wonderful rock opera singer #MeatLoaf with backing vocals by #LorraineCrosby and the model in the video #DanaPatrick is something spectacular I love that it's like "Beauty and the Beast" with reference to "The Phantom Of The Opera"... The unique and incomparable vocal range of #MeatLoaf in the extended version of the CD "Bat Out Of Hell II: Back Into Hell" of 12 minutes 01 seconds leaves you breathless, both the video and the CD versions are unique, as was #MeatLoaf with the tenor vibrato vocal register of 2 octaves 3 1/2 notes (A2 to Eb5) that made him one in a million. #MeatLoaf was unique, special and a wonderful human being... #MeatLoaf and #JimSteinman will forever live in our hearts.
Solch aussergewöhnliche Freundschaften kann man sich garnicht ausdenken, nein, nur das Leben selbst lässt sowas wachsen. Gott ich danke dir, das ich dem beiwohnen und es miterleben durfte!
I am wondering if Jim Steinman took part in this video--...anything for love? Forgive me if this has been asked and answered. I am so sad at the huge irreplaceable loss of these two men. The only consolation is that they are together now.
I’m guessing that for ‘marketing purposes’ at the time he was encouraged to not include that chapter in promotional interviews. I don’t recall one reference to Dead Ringer back in early ‘90’s. Good album though!
@@sachmo3 Yeah It's a very strong album, altough for me, it took more spins to get into than Bat 1 or 2. Strange, why ignore an album that was an important one for Meat, and (although it bombed in the US) was succesful in Europe and produced a couple of hitsingles there
I know Meat died in January. I am making an iMovie about Jim and I looked up Jim's death. I realized something. Jim died on 19 and Meat died on the 20. Meat said that Jim was his brother. If the death dates don't say that they are brothers, I DON'T KNOW WHAT DOES.
jennifer cox Your comment makes no sense , you make it sound like that Jim had died a day before meatloaf .,.. when that isn't the case , Jim died on April 19th, 2021 while meatloaf died a year later on January 20th , 2022
Rest in Peace Meat Loaf and Jim Steinman. Thank you for the music, you made many Rock&Roll dreams come true...

TWO BRILLIANT MINDS WORKING TOGETHER RIP 🙏🏻🙏🏻💔💔
Jim Steinman, number 1 and 2 in the charts at the same time with 2 different artists
most of meatloaf's pieces were in US's dance of the vampires escept for Total Eclipse. THAT was Bonnie Tyler's
Probably one of if not the most underapreciated songs on bat 2
which one?

Love everything about You 💗
Good God, I miss the 90s!
Steinman seems to forget he wrote and co-produced all songs for "Dead Ringer" as well, the follow-up to Bat 1
