US didn’t push Pakistan into this chaos, we pushed it ourselves. Our Army sold ourselves for their own self interest and not for the love of the country.
We have rent seekers Army Mafia that keep pushing us back 10 years and limit all the progress that we can make. The reason they are interested in India because they are bigger economy, china is not even a factor. America is run by corporation and they care about business and expanding their markets. India is a lucrative opportunity for them to capture that market.
If Pakistan had made itself to be a bigger market , America would’ve made same deals with us but our beautiful Pak Army only care about smoking cigars and destroying every sector in Pakistan.

I am Indian American and I think you are one of the best out there! That being said, I do echo your sentiment when you said Ayub Khan missed an opportunity to take Kashmir. In India, we also think that dumb Nehru missed an opportunity by going to UN. He should have ordered indian troops to march to Lahore and Islamabad. Had he not made this horrendous blunder, there would not have been any Ayub Khan!

Pakistan is doing badly due to lack of intelligence and wisdom of its politicians and generals.
Even Nehru had fear of centrifugal tendencies if states were created on language...but ultimately they showed wisdom and let states be created based on language...but Pak's politician could not handle language issue and the country broke apart...Even Srilanka had civil war due to language issue...it shows how mature and wise India's leadership was to handle language issue properly.

This is another diplomatic win for India; the US works for its interests. The US has pushed Pakistan into an internal battle; now Pakistan is powerless on external affairs and shows ruthless leadership in internal politics.
The US or its allies are supporting India due to the following facts; 1. This game is being played to encounter China and India is taking full advantage of its strategic location. 2. Indian diaspora is a hard-working educated English-speaking workforce. They're working in all walks of life; the White House is full of Indian staff. 3. India is one of the biggest economies and the world likes to work with wealthy ppl. We have to accept the fact that India is an emerging democratic power in the region.
A great show as always. Congratulations Pakistan for winning war against your ppl.

It was not the JFK phone call that stopped Ayub in 1962. It was internal issues in Kashmir and China's perceived strategy that stopped Ayub. When the internal issues in Kashmir "seemed" to have changed in 1965, Ayub took action in Kashmir. But his earlier 1962 caution was justified in 1965 . You have to research the internal issues of Kashmir and Chinese policy. A Kashmiri cannot explain more than this.

Good analysis except for the fantasy claim that Pak would have wrested Kashmir in 1962 had it attacked at the same time PLA did. In 1962, the total Indian Army strength in both Ladakh and NEFA was a little more than a division and IAF had no role. The bulk of Indian Army and entire IAF was posted on the western/Pak border, so the outcome would have been at best what happened in 1965, i.e. a ceasefire with Kashmir intact in Indian hands. PLA would still have declared ceasefire as they did and gone back (due to logistics & winter).

I especially took out some time after watching it for 10 starting minutes. this is the greatest v-log this is what people of Pakistan need to know and importantly realize how systems work over a large scale outside borders. Yes I agree it was a chance in the early 60's to be on top but we missed it and such chances came out from nowhere or maybe once in a lifetime and after COVID it was the time to utilize the shift option but we missed it again. That's good to hear there is no discussion of current politics in this v-log because all got damaged badly. 😢

Dear Wajahat bhai, Greetings from Mumbai.
Interesting commentary on the recent Indo-US agreements / dialogues on Defence issues . India has been engaging with US and other western countries , just to diversify its defence hard and software . Russia will continue to be most dependable and cost effective supplier of defence systems and also other related areas like missiles, aerospace technologies to India.
India always been insisting to have tech transfer as part of Defence deals , since 1947, modiji has taken forward this idea of local-manufacture and technology transfer. Since days of Pandit tNehru, India always been been consistent on Foreign Policy like Non-alignment and economic policies which were in interest of India. Self- reliance, make in India are common themes running since 1947.
With same logic, let there not be any misconception that India will be sitting on lap of USA. Even modji will ensure, that India's strategic interests and its core independent foreign policy making will remain intact. Cant even imagine India will ever antagonise China or engage in some war with China, on provocation from US or otherwise. India-China relationship may continue to be lukewarm..but never turn cold.
By same yardstick, It wont be surprising, if India and Pakistan starts talking to have normalise relations in near future. It would be smart move by India, if it talks to Pakistan to woo it into some trade, cultural , tourism deals, so that slowly, slowly..India can reduce influence of China over Pakistan, with full backing of US and Western power. Indian policy makers are smart enough to smell coffee to get into some engagement with Pakistan.
Let us hope Indian and Pakistani policy makers think and act smartly to keep this region normal , rather than remain embroiled in confrontationist zone.
    🙏🙂
