The frame with the numbers on the attic level is for the servants to answer to calls from the rooms in the castle. the number would tell them which room to go to.
Maureno, I have been watching your explorations for years and I've loved every single one. But I must admit, it's places like this that absolutely break my heart. ☹️ So many important pieces that should be saved - sold or donated. Photos that should be handed down. Where is the extended family? It was such a beautiful home once... with noble people living there. Great find. And, as usual, great photography. 👍❤️
The attic space must have been servants quarters. The panel with the numbers would correspond to the call button in whatever room was designated by a number. I’m not a chemist but I think the box that had the tubes must have been used to make some sort of tincture perhaps. This was a fabulous tour once again. Thank you so much. Looking forward to your next find!
Wow ! This is the saddest place you've ever been. It's obvious that the castle as a whole can't be saved anymore, but to see those gourgeous wallpapers, the ancient beds and furniture, the pictures from another time , the photos, all precious memories left behind and still decaying. Nobody is interested in all those items. It's unbelievable ! I'm glad you 've found this place and documented it for us. Another wonderful video of explomo, my favourite explorers. ❤
I’m so thankful that you are sharing your passion with the world. As a little girl, I dreamed of visiting Europe & exploring the many old castles & grand old homes. I don’t believe that will ever happen for me but I can have these adventures through your beautiful, well done videos. Thank & keep them coming.
I loved ❤️ the music, it went so well with the old castle, it was fitting for it, so moving to my soul too! I can just imagine what that place looked like once, splendid and magnificent in all its glory, what a pity they didn't keep it up, and that grandfather clock, so sad that it was left to rot 😢! I am an animal lover, but it's OK to see all those taxidermy mounted animals, that was long ago.
This can't be real. Castles like this only exist on disney or cartoon or fairytales. Thats not real. Thats a DREAM!!!! U were inside of a fairytale. U spent 5 hours in a fairytale. I am not wrong when i say i was born in the wrong era. Those are the places where i dream to live and wake up every single day of my life!!! Those people were living their best life, and they were living my dream 😢 I would die to live in a castle like this! I would just feel like i am a princess 👑 Especially the purple room, my favorite one, the girl that used to sleep in that room and used that cute vintage vanity was definitely a princess. 💜 The castle is amazing, every single room in it is breath taking, the location as well. And from the outside, wow! The drone shots you took really helped us to see the castles from different angles, and showed us the beauty of it. The music you used was perfect for this explore, it made the video more magical ✨ One of the best urbex videos i watched, and one of the best locations ever! France never fails to surprise me anyways 🤩 Thanks for another great and amazing video and explore. Until next time. Bye ❤
Hi Maureno, what a spectacular explore 😊 I find all the Chateaux so captivating . The last part of the vlog where you saw the glass frame with all the numbers, is what was known as "a Butler board" it would light up or ring to show which room a servant was required in a fantastic find for me 😊 Much respect and good wishes my friend ❣️ nearly forgot to say my favourite room was the Lilac 💜 room 😍 amazing 😍
Hello Maureno! The Castle is amazing incluye the decayed condition in some parts of it. The Panoramic in the balcony is incredible beautiful. I am always enjoying your narration and respectful actitud . I am sending one big hug 🤗 and hope you are feeling better ❤❤👍👏😘
This is the first castle for me that the whole thing from inside to outside, from the attic to the basement was beautiful to me. Each detail and room had me wowing. If i had the money i would purchase that one myself. And restore every detail back to the original state. Moe when you stood on the balcony, I believed the castle was yours. I could really see you as it's owner.
Me too wasn’t it fun? I love how he loves them so much like I do and I love when he dresses up and walks through. I just love how he’s so patient because I like to go slow and look and he does it. He’s wonderful. God bless you.
Fascinating! The device at the end with the numbers is a maid/butler bell. The numbers reference the room they are being called to. There would be a button or pull-chord in each room connected to this box that the home owners would press/pull when they wanted to call a maid or butler.
Hello from Georgia, USA. Welcome back Maureno. This home was an absolute treasure. Thank you for documenting this museum. Your videos bring joy to so many. I hope you are doing well. ❤🤲
I wish someone would care for all the lovely abandoned pianos, to close them up from collecting dust and decay. I was glad to see the keys covered on the grand. I wish someone would reclaim them. They’re left with so many priceless antiques, they’re barely an afterthought to the wealthy people who leave so much behind. Maybe, someday? ❤ It’s so true about the treasures we gather around us: “We can’t take them with us.” What a stark comparison, seeing treasures left from their glorious days, only to decay. What an amazing palace! And someone called it “home.” Wow. Thank you, thank you, for bringing us along! ❤
Often the owners would die, and their children/grandchildren either didn't want to take on such a massive, expensive, project, - have lives too far away, and don't want to, or can't, relocate, - fought over who should get it so it sits empty and dying, - or the taxes owed on it were astronomical.
A most excellent video. That room with the ceiling paper collapsing....but it was so majestic also - the natual ruin of the nature matching the grandiour of the chetaeu!. And well done for standing on the balcony - you deserved this moment as a reward. Well done, and thankyou!
That one was my favorite to that furniture. I’ve never seen a mirror between the two dressers and the empty spot that mirror all the way up so that you could see yourself dressed up that was awesome but just the way the furniture with me. Oh you just don’t see that nowadays I loved it.
I love the way the forebears honored the animals of the region and that lived on their land. Also, a lot of these animals were prepared by the servants into specialty dishes.
That purple room with the iris wallpaper was stunning. I would guess that that wallpaper from from the 1950s. If the previous owner loved irises so much, I wonder if she had a garden of old cultivars there decades ago; unfortunately, it seems unlikely that any would be left as the land around it appears to all be under cultivation. Most of the house seems like it hasn’t been lived in for decades, but someone seems to be coming in and packing up items. I would love to know the story of who owns it.
Brilliant to see you Maureno and a gem of an explore! France has something so special with its romantic manoirs and châteaus is just unique. The history of battles etc is just incredible. I’m not a chemist but I think the box that had the tubes must have been used to make some sort of tincture perhaps.
This was a fabulous tour once again. Thank you so much. Looking forward to your next find!
Always love to see clear shots of the coat of arms.
They tell/ connect so much history in themselves.
Thank You
Unbelievable.. This was the most beautiful urbex exploration I have ever seen. TY
You is The Best, congratulations. From Brasil
Maya's mom here: The food elevator is called a Dumbwaiter...great house, thanks so much for the tour!
Who the F is Maya?
Bye ❤
This is magnificent and words do not do not do it justice. Loved this place and your video. Thank you so much Maureno 💓💗💛💖
The carvings on the furniture are amazing. Such craftsmanship!
One of if not the most extravagant abandoned locations i've ever seen. Great job
Magnificent Chateau! Thank you for sharing it with us.God Bless you and keep you safe on your adventures!
I love your videos and how you narrate everything. Excellent video.
It's another castle inside... towers are different from the outside
@Glory5438 It's really amazing putting this up together, great sense of understanding. how are you doing today?
I wish someone would care for all the lovely abandoned pianos, to close them up from collecting dust and decay. I was glad to see the keys covered on the grand. I wish someone would reclaim them. They’re left with so many priceless antiques, they’re barely an afterthought to the wealthy people who leave so much behind. Maybe, someday? ❤
It’s so true about the treasures we gather around us: “We can’t take them with us.” What a stark comparison, seeing treasures left from their glorious days, only to decay.
Ludzie, gdzie jestescie????????
GRANDE MAURENO.. felice che sei in gran forma e ci dai queste belle esplorazioni
grazie!!😊😊💯💯💛💚🍀🍀🍀🍀

Vielen herzlichen Dank.
Moreno, thanks for sharing with us a tour of that historical landmark! ☺
The most impressive abandoned castle tour I have seen to date. Thank you, thank you a thousand times.
That was an awesome castle. You got more shown then the other explorer. Thank you.
@lorijones8572 It's really amazing putting this up together, great sense of understanding. how are you doing today?

❤Thank you for showing this breath taking castle.😊 So much history and gorgeous furnishings of the day. Why it's all left to decay is so sad.
These people were blessed with such a beautiful house. Lucky them.
Love you're voice and great exploring from lreland❤
So sad to see this house in bad condition. Some one worked hard at one time to make it beautiful. I hope someone restores this.
Stunning !!!
Absolutely beautiful! dear Maureno, Thank you for taking us on tour of this beautiful castle.!
That was a beautiful castle explore😎
Wonderful to explore this with you. Thank you.
The frame at the top floor with the numbers has something to do with calling servants.
Thank you for sharing your discovery.
I'm so glad 😊 too see you guys filming castle's again.❤💯👍 beautiful.
This castle is stunning! Thank you for doing this location justice.
Also, that kit was a VD kit. It makes sense, him being a medic, he would have one.
@janegrametbaur817 It's really amazing putting this up together, great sense of understanding. how are you doing today?
A most excellent video. That room with the ceiling paper collapsing....but it was so majestic also - the natual ruin of the nature matching the grandiour of the chetaeu!. And well done for standing on the balcony - you deserved this moment as a reward.
Well done, and thankyou!
@Keth417 It's really amazing putting this up together, great sense of understanding. how are you doing today, Keth?
That one was my favorite to that furniture. I’ve never seen a mirror between the two dressers and the empty spot that mirror all the way up so that you could see yourself dressed up that was awesome but just the way the furniture with me. Oh you just don’t see that nowadays I loved it.
Thank U so much Moureno🎉🎉🎉🎉❤
Thank you! Purple bedroom and piano rooms were my favorites!
@danacomstock7598 It's really amazing putting this up together, great sense of understanding. how are you doing today?

Waaw waaw! Uimitor, fantastic! Vă urmăresc din România! 😊🤗
Much love, thank you ❤❤
Thank you so much. This was an amazing explore. You’re the best
I love the way the forebears honored the animals of the region and that lived on their land. Also, a lot of these animals were prepared by the servants into specialty dishes.
Salut Moreno,
That purple room with the iris wallpaper was stunning.
@sarahwylder9597 It's really amazing putting this up together, great sense of understanding. how are you doing today?
your videos and production have come so far..amazing..loving every one of your documentaries and your backgrounds on the families..BRAVO peace out ...
Brilliant to see you Maureno and a gem of an explore! France has something so special with its romantic manoirs and châteaus is just unique. The history of battles etc is just incredible. I’ve always wondered, as well travelled as you are, if you have a favourite country to explore? Wonderful to see and hope you’re keeping healthy and well my friend 👏✌️
His favorite is Japan❤
