Remember what Nirmala Sitarman said before the Lok Sabha elections, in 2024. Her caste can not win in TN. Dr Jayalaitha was an exception because of several reasons. Conversion is happening, against the wishes of Dr BR Ambedkar in TN, for which casteism is an essential ingredient. But the funniest part is casteism is followed in Christianity and Islam in TN. Lol. Answer to why BJP failed this time.. Dmk alliance starts with + 10-12% votes whereas BJP starts with - 10-12% votes. These 10-12% minority votes (M and C) vote bank is the trump card of DMK alliance.. 99℅ of M and 95℅ of C vote for Dmk only..they were instructed not to vote for other than DMK alliance as they are afraid of vote split may result in strengthen BJP hold in TN. 2. DMK has massive influence on print and digital media in TN. Regarding caste... All the seats in the election are allocated based on the caste. DMK couldn't directly win in kongu areas (central tamilnadu) for a long time now. In Last mla election and mp election DMK formed alliance with caste based parties in that area to win seats. Yeah caste is not behind our names but still plays a crucial role when it comes to election. You could have simply asked this question "they are preaching social justice so why couldn't they directly win in those areas?"

Remember what Nirmala Sitarman said before the Lok Sabha elections, in 2024. Her caste can not win in TN. Dr Jayalaitha was an exception because of several reasons. The first reason is that she was sponsored by MGR.

Answer to why BJP failed this time.. Dmk alliance starts with + 10-12% votes whereas BJP starts with - 10-12% votes. These 10-12% minority votes (M and C) vote bank is the trump card of DMK alliance.. 99℅ of M and 95℅ of C vote for Dmk only..they were instructed not to vote for other than DMK alliance as they are afraid of vote split may result in strengthen BJP hold in TN. 2. DMK has massive influence on print and digital media in TN. They are like serial mother in law who always tarnish bad light on daughter in law ( central BJP govt) and give hype to their daughter (state Dmk govt).
