Vette Lights has an absolutely amazing product here with their Laser LED Sider Marker. This will wake up your C5 and bring it out of the 90s. Install is easy with two tools and a little bit of time.
The link is above for Vette Lights. Take a look at all they have to offer. Thanks for watching! - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ
Good video, Now I know what to expect when I change mine out.
Great job of simplifying and explaining the process
Good video. If anyone watching has a convertible, the passenger side is blocked by the power antenna. I removed the nuts on the mounting bolts and the top retaining nut and was able to just get by.
Thank you for the information I am still on the fence about getting these lights.
@@MrWkdnbd I did mine and I'm not mechanically inclined but I took me 6 hours to change mine out.
Great info - thanks!
I too don’t like the look of the laser lights that have a black background. Didn’t even know these existed until watching your video. I’ll definitely be getting a pair. Love the stock (when not lit up) look.
Lookn Good....thanks helpful.
Definitely get the led taillights they look way better and they’ll match
I did! Check out my vid!
Do you need the hyperflash harness with these leds?
With these I did not. Plugged in and worked fine.

I want to just replace the bulb what size is it?
Pretty sure it’s just 194/168 wedge style no? Sorry for immensely late reply
@@Joey856721 Thanks i had to replace the whole thing anyway.
Mine came with an “on/off” switch on each light but it doesn’t seem to do anything. The directions describe them as a 3rd brake light saying it will flash a couple of times when on the break but I got nothing. Anyone else?
I don't have these lights but I have been looking at buying them. I believe that on off switch is for the optional (start up sequence) when you first turn the lights on or start the car I guess it's supposed to do some light sequence. I wish they had a video of what it does.
Do you live in Akron, Ohio, JT?
Yes I do
they are called sheet metal nuts and they suck! ratcheting 11mm box end works great to get them out. Stock taillights should have T15 screws not Phillips. ANother tip is to screw the nuts onto the post before you install the lights to make it easy to thread the nuts on.
Mine looks different it has a switch on it
Oh wow the light does?
@RubberCityMotoring you can pay more and they play an animation on start up
Way too bright imo I’ll be getting the smoked. Thanks for the video
My dad said the same thing! Let me know how you like the smoked.
