Hello Ry. Enjoyed the Emirates Stadium Tour, and Museum video that you did. Began supporting Arsenal in 1991, watched on TV, Liverpool v Arsenal. Arsenal won 1 - 0, Paul Merson scored up at Anfield.
Great Work there Ry! But did you miss out Herbert Chapman‘s statue!! Also I believe there’s a nice tribute to Eddie Hapgood who was England Captain and Arsenal legend of 17 years. I am a former North Bank Season Ticket Holder from 1994/5 and attended many Highbury matches up until the move to Ashburton Grove. I think Arsenal have done a good job on slowly turning it into home. It took a while. You’re absolutely right on The Crest as the Pre 2002 crest was absolutely stunning and the current crest is very plain. One tip I can recommend is you park on the edge of London and Tube/train the rest as it would take the hassle away of parking and driving in London. Keep them coming 👏
I’ll be honest I’m clueless with public transport and avoid the tube like the plague 😁 completely different way of life in London isn’t it fair play… the old badge is really good, it’s a shame to see any simple logo but that’s football in 2024 isn’t it. Really impressed with all the artwork around the emirates 👏🏽😊
@@RysFootyParadise Yes indeed, London is hard work. I no longer live in London or in Britain anymore. I won’t buy anything with the current Arsenal crest. I am very happy you made this video, great Sunday viewing.
We weren't the Arsenal we were The Woolwich Arsenal as we were formed by the munitions workers there. Our colours, red, white, yellow and blue are taken from the military standards of the two regiments stationed at the Woolwich Arsenal at the time.
Arsenal (and many other teams) redesigned their badges in the Premier League era because that meant they could copyright the badge. I believe the lovely old badges that many clubs had could be added to merchandise manufactured by anybody and was not suitable for the kit deals that clubs were signing with the big sports manufacturers.
@@RysFootyParadise Yes. The trend has been to simplify the old logos for all sorts of businesses in the last few decades so I suppose that contributed to it. Also, if the logo is simple it makes it harder to create a close copy that is legal whereas you could probably tweak the old Arsenal badge and nobody would notice but it would have enough difference to not infringe copyright. Finally it's probably a lot easier to add the branding to the huge variety of merchandise if it is a relatively simple design. As always, I'm sure it all comes down to money and though you won't really remember much before the Premier League, football did sell its soul once the Premier League and Champion's League came along and the top teams went global. Still, I do appreciate watching more live TV games in a week than used to be available in a year when I was younger.
Best rivalry prem league has ever seen is Arsenal, man utd...nothing will ever beat those wenger fergie years, just feel Arsenal of that time should have achieved a bit more, but utd where so strong too, still gutted we lost champs league final in 06 to barca, down to 10 men and 1 up with less than 20 mins to go and lose 1-2,
Emirates Stadium is a must-see if you go to London with enough time. Arsenal is a legendary club if there ever was one. Not only from England but from planet Football. Without a doubt one of my favorite clubs in the Premier League of all times. I still remember watching games with legends like Tony Adams or Ray Parlour. (Oh my god how old I am). The home shirt always seemed to me the most beautiful in the entire Premier. Especially when Nike began to be one of its sponsor. By the way: This season's away kit is simply horrible. 😂😂😂 Greetings!
@@RysFootyParadise Green & White combination for Man Utd. Is definitely not a good idea. I hope the designers never think about something like that again. 🤣🤣🤣Cheers mate! 🙌🏻
I lived as a child. So near to the Arsenal old ground, I could hear the roar when a goal was scored. Not a fan of the new ground. To be fair nothing wrong with the ground itself just the outside appearance.
Went to the Emirates in 2010 season one all draw birmingham and arsenal and we were robbed that day.bit of a lucky mascot with arsenal, 3 game s 2 wins both in the last-minute of course the one at Wembley.lovely stadium
It’s been done before but I think you should do a video where you explore a little piece of the club’s host. For example, I done a documentary on Arsenal and their history and you’ll be amazed. It’s a good idea, and it’s an idea you can do with Southampton, Arsenal, Man Utd, West Ham etc.
I remember this stadium being built it looked absolutely incredible when it was new. I live in New zealand now, so I haven't seen the uk in 17 years .shame It looks dirty from the outside now.
Thks; an i didnt even have t pay f the tour. wud love t c inside Emirates but due t health currently unable t travel so ur assistance really appreciated.
Interesting that the tour doesn’t seem to take you to the lower tier at The Emirates where the majority of fans actually watch matches. Maybe that’s because it’s a totally uninspiring/unpleasant concrete concourse. As an Arsenal season ticket holder I’ve always felt that for the money we pay we deserve a much better environment, especially as the club would like fans to spend more time (money) before and after the game in the stadium.
Ity would have been 50 unbeaten if it wasnt for that farce of a game at Old Trafford! Mike Riley, Fergies favourite son, should have sent off 3 united players. Disgracia!!😂 Im not bitter...still.

we must increase the capacity of the stadium I'm tired of on the waiting list.
Hello Ry. Enjoyed the Emirates Stadium Tour, and Museum video that you did. Began supporting Arsenal in 1991, watched on TV, Liverpool v Arsenal. Arsenal won 1 - 0, Paul Merson scored up at Anfield.
Because of the Premier League starting in 92 I always think the years of 90-92 get forgotten don’t you think?
Hello mate, I think I got him in the montage after bashing Keown 😅👍🏾 (H Chapman)
@@highbury1972 wise move haha cheers mate 👍🏾 I love a quieter way of life and could never live in a big city
We weren't the Arsenal we were The Woolwich Arsenal as we were formed by the munitions workers there. Our colours, red, white, yellow and blue are taken from the military standards of the two regiments stationed at the Woolwich Arsenal at the time.
Fair commentary but just to correct you, it wasn't Utd that ended Arsenals unbeaten run, it was Mike Riley.
Lol
🎯
Here after first online Armory purchase. Blessed by God to be uh Gunnah
Yes finally, The Emirates, the Home of London's Greatest. COYG
When will you give us an Old Trafford tour? You saving it for last?
I’ve done about 20 tours since 1995 at old trafford but if it’s something you wanna see on the channel I’m happy to go again 😁👍🏾🍻
That makes sense 😊 just wish they were a little bit more detailed
Best rivalry prem league has ever seen is Arsenal, man utd...nothing will ever beat those wenger fergie years, just feel Arsenal of that time should have achieved a bit more, but utd where so strong too, still gutted we lost champs league final in 06 to barca, down to 10 men and 1 up with less than 20 mins to go and lose 1-2,
Very enjoyable, though that pic of Keown was clearly still painful which is understanding
Seeing him on Renford rejects at least made me warm to him a little 😅
4:25 why they put the 0 goals on are they taken the piss lol
What club would make the away changing rooms luxurious
Emirates Stadium is a must-see if you go to London with enough time. Arsenal is a legendary club if there ever was one. Not only from England but from planet Football. Without a doubt one of my favorite clubs in the Premier League of all times. I still remember watching games with legends like Tony Adams or Ray Parlour. (Oh my god how old I am). The home shirt always seemed to me the most beautiful in the entire Premier. Especially when Nike began to be one of its sponsor. By the way: This season's away kit is simply horrible. 😂😂😂 Greetings!
There’s a few love/hate away kits this season 🤣 United don’t seem to wear the green & white anymore
@@RysFootyParadise Green & White combination for Man Utd. Is definitely not a good idea. I hope the designers never think about something like that again. 🤣🤣🤣Cheers mate! 🙌🏻
We were originally called Dial Square FC
Yep 😊👍🏾
Bob Wilson never scored as he was there goalkeeper lol. Please try and do a review on Stamford Bridge as your reviews are the best out there . Cheers.
I’m hoping to be there Tuesday but my camera packed up in Sheffield yesterday so it all depends on that 😅👍🏾 thanks for watching mate
That's not sound proofing, they're acoustic tiles. They just stop echo, they don't have any effect for sound proofing.
That stairs need some serious pressure wash
I lived as a child. So near to the Arsenal old ground, I could hear the roar when a goal was scored. Not a fan of the new ground. To be fair nothing wrong with the ground itself just the outside appearance.
Went to the Emirates in 2010 season one all draw birmingham and arsenal and we were robbed that day.bit of a lucky mascot with arsenal, 3 game s 2 wins both in the last-minute of course the one at Wembley.lovely stadium
It’s nice isn’t it. Better than St. Andrews though?……
@@RysFootyParadise you funny fecker
It’s been done before but I think you should do a video where you explore a little piece of the club’s host. For example, I done a documentary on Arsenal and their history and you’ll be amazed. It’s a good idea, and it’s an idea you can do with Southampton, Arsenal, Man Utd, West Ham etc.
Sorry mate I’m not quite sure what you mean by club’s host?
@@RysFootyParadisesorry mate, I meant history*
@@charlieeady434 😅 ahh makes sense now 👍🏾 cheers mate, was gonna do a mini doc sort of video on Hereford & Wimbledon
@@RysFootyParadiseyeah, I like that. You can really dig deep into their history. Really love your content mate, keep going👊🏻!
You should do Edgar Street and Wadden Road mate. Traditionally football was about where your from, local passion.
I’ve done Whaddon Road mate and had a half edited Edgar Street one waiting to be finished 😉
Why is Tony Adams doing Belligol?
Interesting that the tour doesn’t seem to take you to the lower tier at The Emirates where the majority of fans actually watch matches. Maybe that’s because it’s a totally uninspiring/unpleasant concrete concourse. As an Arsenal season ticket holder I’ve always felt that for the money we pay we deserve a much better environment, especially as the club would like fans to spend more time (money) before and after the game in the stadium.
That’s a fair shout mate, yeah they tactically avoided that 😅
As a season ticket holder I quite like my faded seat, mostly caused by me 😉
😁👍🏾
My plaque is near that Bob Wilson bench
What's the song at 14:42??
Anyone...
"Beautiful Day" by U2. ITV used it as their theme music when they had the TV rights for Premier League highlights in the 2001-2002 season.
I think it’s called GET READY by 2 Unlimited 👍🏾
@@RysFootyParadise Not at 14:42 it's not. Sorry!
EMIRATES❤ARSENAL
Ity would have been 50 unbeaten if it wasnt for that farce of a game at Old Trafford! Mike Riley, Fergies favourite son, should have sent off 3 united players. Disgracia!!😂 Im not bitter...still.
And Rooney dived for the penalty. I guess that’s nothing unusual.
@@patl709 the game was a complete set up. Fergie and Mike Riley had decided Arsenal weren't getting out of there unbeaten.
