Very nice video! the car will be fine I'm sure! Dream Arran, and a good sleep will follow fingers crossed 🤞 I've subscribed to follow your journey , as I love Scotland and travel there a fair bit (stalking)atb from Steve near Chester England 🇬🇧 where the Roman's once lived.
Looking good. Well done.
good start - consider a custom roto-molded fuel container with fill from the top to allow full capacity use.
What is the maximum size fridge you can fit in the back?
Have you solved the problem with the factory Red winch only having 15m of rope on the drum?
Awesome❤
What size tyres?
I wish those Method wheels came in a slightly more aggressive offset, such as +35mm (same as the Reika R35V Scrambler 2500 wheels).
Pretty tough right out of the box..... Try the Toyota and the Nissan from the dealer no add-ons
Yes looks ok with some decent accessories, however probably needs the test of real off-road and the off-road requirements.
The TowPro sits in the middle of that panel - ugly!
Rhino rack - not the best dynamic rating.
Extended fuel must go I get to lower centre of gravity and give a lot more than 30 litres.
As for the steps 😂 zero protection on rock climbs and really rough tracks - they bend and damage from experience…
40 Lt fridge is not adequate for over landing , more a weekend fridge.
Cannot wait to sell our 200 tourer and build a Grenadier next year for off grid touring and towing .
Thanks for the vid guys - love the SLRV garage and your enthusiasm!
7:24: “we’ve got a fair breeze here at the moment” … not a single leaf moving in the background
