- I show you how to download and play P5X in this video! Basically, the Taiwan and Korean clients are readily available from their respective websites below and all you need is an email account! No need for VPN, jailbreaks or ID verification!

This persona has ways to get into the CN server and play now! It's a bit more complicated but if you cannot wait 5 days for the TW/KR release then go for it. Also, they have a thread on how to play on phones.

Oh it definitely is intentional, this seems to be a common thing among gacha games. I recall there was one game that was actually banning players outside of Japan.
I mean IS A CHINESE game... They're very different from global Server....

It's probably part of their strategy. They want to milk each region efficiently.
It's fun. Not as good as the original, but if you finished the last titles and want more persona to play, it can fill that spot.

They're more than likely going to release it worldwide eventually, after the success of Genshin and Honkai internationally Chinese devs are definitely more open to the ideas.
Just hope it isn't going to be like FGO where it took 2 year for an international version to be released
I don't think it will be 2 years (I hope not!). From credible leakers like Midori, Japan release will be later this year and then global maybe next year.
Well genshin and honkai had hoyoverse behind them which were known for some of their good games like honkai impact, can't really say they are going to release it to global because of other games performances, but I still do hope they release it

I just hoping they are considering porting over to console in a forsee future. I mean its still part of the persona 5 universe, not many people find this game existed. I mean for an port atempt on mobile is quite impressive and all.
They're not even port them outside of China/Korea/TW, so cleary not on console lmaoooo. Also it's a (quite terrible) mobile gacha game - consoles don't get those unless they are really big (Genshin...).
@@SethJV im not saying because It had "gacha" wouldnt be impossible todo on console. If they acepts on terms changing into an non microtransation instead game over would workaround. But in china mindset i assume they never Will unless change the mind. A man can Dream.

To anyone having issue with client freezing on first fight.(music plays but client freezing) Install and switch your windows to respective to your client language pack.Helped for me on KR client
Will we need a VPN in order to actually log into the game when the open beta launches or are we just good to go?
If you're playing on TW or KR no VPN needed. Just sign up and you're good to go.

i wonder if the game/launcher registers your actual device i.e your pc and when it comes to the west eventually will your account be forever stuck in chinese/korean
Most likely your progress will not carry over. It's typical for games of different regions to do this but they may add something to transfer regions for money.
I hate to ask, but is this friendly for Mac laptops? I only have access to a laptop and a phone currently, both Apple. Is there a way to download this, or am I out of luck?
Yes there is a way to make it work on Macs! Check out my other video for how to play in English and the discord linked there will have a section on how to do this.
I dont quite understand and i know its a bit stupid to ask but how do i play the game on my phone? i have Samsung Galaxy 10 E
Phone is a bit more difficult but luckily you have an android phone. Just switch your region to TW or KR and search for P5X. Then you should be able to download it. As mentioned in the video, ShivaPersona on Twitter has a method to do this. I didn't cover it because there is no way for me to verify it personally (my app store won't let me download the game). But many have commented saying it works.
So will progress be carried over in open beta?
If you played the previous closed beta's your progress carries over and I would assume it would carry over to final release as well. I'm not sure if your progress will carry over from CN closed betas to TW or KR tho...
Where do you redeem the codes they dropped?
Do you know how to login with the qr code from the mobile game? I'm logged in on mobile and can't login on the pc version so I was trying to figure out how to login with the qr code. This is for the CN version btw, thanks
Hey, I'm not too sure sorry... I cannot verify any mobile apps myself so I didn't include it in the guide. As mentioned in the video, for mobile stuff and CN stuff just refer to PersonaShiva's Twitter thread linked in the description. It is very comprehensive and should help you.
@zeffyno8 Yeah, I joined his discord and stuff as well but didn't find an answer, unfortunately so I emulated it on pc. If you wanna make another video on it for views or just to be helpful, you could join his discord and make a video about his other methods.

I tried signing up multiple times, no dice. No SMS has been sent, on my personal phones, or any "free sms" service from any country that cna be found on the internet. I was told the korean version next weeks works with google at least.
Taiwan works with Google as well. That is what I showed in the video. Try clicking the Google icon when running the installer. Otherwise, KR it is.

I'm trying to download the Taiwan version but when I go to the first install page, the install button is grey and can't install it. What do I do?
Did you click on the 'agree user agreement' check box in the bottom left? If so, try uninstalling the downloader and re-running the exe file.
@@zeffyno8 I had the some problem with the grey, so I uninstalled it and re opened it and got the same problem. is it because I'm in canada?

For some reason, the KR server just automatically uninstalls after I start playing.
Is it just the thumbnail?? Or the makeup game of her just that crazy??
Bit of both I think. I defs added some colour to make her 'pop' in the thumbnail but she already had a lot of details beforehand in the original image.
when i downloaded the launcher it wouldn't me download anything the start button was gray and unclickable

It will eventually, just don't know when. The Taiwan official websites said that it will release on 'all platforms' but I have a feeling that was a mistranslation...

I mean, it's kinda easy to get into the game, at least it doesn't require you to have a Chinese phone number or something.

@@KenOmegaTheAlmighty For Taiwan and KR you do not need ID. The installer can be downloaded and verified using an email account.

I might be misunderstanding but you do not need a Google laptop to login. You can use a facebook account, mobile number (any region will work) or any email account (guest option) to login. Apple account should work as well.

Ive been playing the cn version on Android and everything was fine the day of the launch but for some reason since yesterday ive been getting connection problems.
Weird... I did see some people getting errors due to various reasons. It may also just be server side instead of something wrong on your end. Try PersonaShiva's Twitter thread. They have a few fixes there for mobile and CN stuff.

@@virtuozo6180 i just downloaded the android version and used a temporary phone number(which is probably a bad idea) and did the same as in the video. But i did it a day before the release

After installing and downloading the 30gb files, i cnt access the game it says insufficient storage eventhhough i have plenty of space in my pc . Anyone?
Do you have multiple drives? You could be accidently installing into one that doesn't have that much space. Otherwise delete all files and try again I would say.
but sorry, am I the only one having problems with the game? as soon as I start it it starts downloading and immediately after the game closes, sometimes it even appeared to me that the game closed due to a bug and to wait for updates, what should I do?
ps. I have a Samsung Galaxy s22 ULTRA I don't think that's the problem

Yup,same here .
Fixed by installing language package and switching your system to that language. Installed Korean client and language package on windows,after switching system to korean no freeze.

@@ManFace1337 you can do basicly same thing on phone...but it is massively harder to do if it's android and i think it's really horendous if you on IPhone
I did everything right i believe and no issues found, but when i'm playing the prologue the game freezes at the end of the cutscene on the first enemy and nothing happens, im forced to close the game, then when reentering, after pressing to play and wonder spins the screen goes black and freezes again. When i restarted the pc the whole game uninstalled itself. Can someone help? 😂

Ok the answer is,install Language package for respective server i think and switch windows to it(dunno how about the phones) ,for example for Korean client i installed Korean language package and switched to it,after that where was no freeze.For TW client i think it would be simplified chinese

Seems like switch it every time you gonna play the game or you gonna get freeze at every battle/cutscene. Wich is not a huge trouble for pc, basicly a few clicks and relogin into system.
I was able to get the game in Korean ver. but the language barrier make me stop playing it since I wasn't really understanding the voicelines and tips and gudes and stuff... So yeah.

How can we play this game with translator
I am not sure at the moment. Best bet would be to try and google translate menus, abilities etc and note them down. You could try some patchers or third party translation software but not sure if they will work.

I use MORT translator. It’s a bit of effort to get it working because you also need to install the Chinese language pack through windows settings for winOCR to function and you need to set boundaries basically it searches parts of the screen for text, screenshots it, turns the images to text and then google translates it for you and shows the output on an overlay. It’s all automatic and fast after setup but it takes some setup.
Im going to look into these other methods but what i have been doing is just using google translate on my phone but i guide that could be uneffective in game
@@rayray0098 I really recommend MORT if you have the time to configure it. It does the same process your phone does but automatically on the pc without any action from yourself.
