There are so many great photos in this video. I really like the puzzle analogy, whenever everything clicks into place just right.
The execution of the bullet train photo is so satisfying or finding the shot but waiting for the right light.
My favorite photographer is back with another one!!
When I moved to Japan I only had a Ricoh GR 3x that I purchased for the trip. Now I'm still here 2 years later and picked up a Fuji camera, and it's a very different experience. The Ricoh comes with me every day, from my daily commute to a trip to the shops. The Fuji is much more of a conscious photography experience, where I carry the (heavier) camera when I intend to go somewhere and shoot something (even if I don't know what that something is yet). The photos end up being quite different because of that.

I would like to purchase either the x100v or the ricoh gr3x. as far as the experience you had, which one would you reccomend if you could choose just one of the two
I'm just a big fan of photos of everyday Japan life, especially the simple pictures of buildings with a bicycle in front of them. But I enjoyed your more complex photos too! Like ones with the colour matching and the shinkansen. You did quite well over there in Japan. 😊
i love your fuji recipe 🥺 i tried to replicate it as close as possible in lightroom, its not perfect but it actually might be my 2nd favourite preset now, cant wait to try it on some new photos soon.

hi hi! thank you for watching : ) i've been sharing my photos online for 15+ years but never found a creative way to do it. i share my iphone photos on instagram, but didn't want to post actual camera photos there/create a 2nd account for them. i find beauty in the "why" and "so what" of things, so i wanted to share my thoughts behind photos through videos and hopefully inspire others to either do the same, or go out and take more photots!
@@yewonperry thank you for your reply and insight Yewon! Actually, intentionality is the keyword when it comes to capturing photos and sharing them online and showing them to the world. I just have a hard time going over that hurdle when it comes to filming myself and explaining the photos I took.
