Tokyo has such a cool mix of traditional buildings, 70/80s and modern sometimes all at once. Tons of primary colors everywhere. I keep going back to the train/metro car at 1:08. The fuzziness of people inside from the condensation and their positioning/body language. You can see the previous building (or a similar one) through the windows. It's a nice frame within a frame with a lot of different textures too.
Tokyo is my #1 destination, so thanks for providing some inspiration. It's like a giant playground for photographers. Great photos, and the rain helped a bit too with adding a bit of extra atmosphere. And you can't go wrong with chefs preparing food in a cloud of steam. And I like your idea of getting closer and making photos of hands etc. while they're preparing food.
Such a cool channel and amazing photos. I was so close to visiting Japan one point myself. I had experience with modeling and in late 2015 I was in contact with Capcom about the facial likeness role of Leon for the Resident Evil 2 Remake. I failed to mention I also have a voice acting background, in the end I lost the part and I can't forgive myself for wasting such an opportunity to visit Asia..
I have the theory that pointing the camera randomly in Tokyo has 50% chances of being a good photo. Osaka is arguably even a better city for street photography, people there is more expressive and you can find really interesting characters 😂 Looking forward seeing more videos from Japan!
Nice pictures but you’re right it takes social skills and courage to take more personable photos of people close up . Keep practicing that’s what I’m doing.

Yewon, you're my ideal wife lol
Not 10 seconds in, your cat gives a big ol' yawn. I will not take that as an editorial opinion on the cat's part! :)
Oh, and I love the shot at 2:35, the shot from above the crosswalks!
Omg the lofi background music 🔥
