That's an interesting idea. St Vincent said somewhere that once a song is out then it is a kind of Rorschach test for people to find whatever they can. Many of her songs suggest multiple meanings which play alongside each other. Being conscious and fearful of the loss of youth doesn't seem like an aberration to me though but universal.

Specifically the line "in Los Ageless, mothers milk their young" in reference to Jennette McCurdy among other child stars who have been exploited by their parents who were complicit in the abuse by men like Dan Schneider.

Did you notice the audience or should I say the few people who were in the audience. Watch the video of St. Vincent and pay close attention to how few people there at the show. The grammies have become a joke. When I was a teenager the seats were packed. I like her music but the music industry and the grammies are crap now a days.
