Great video MotoSouth! I especially liked that you also pointed out important things to watch out for, like the clearence for the throttle and the left handed thread on right mirror. I only had a minor mess up during installation. When tightening the whole assembly I had some loctite residue on my hands which left some ugly fingerprints on the shiny black paint of the new bar end weights. Any idea how I could remove the loctite residue from the bar end weights without destroying the paint?
Very informative but, which one should I do first lol?? The Bark busters or the double takes? This is my first bike and I'm kinda at a crossroads with which one should come first due to the use of locktight. 🤔 Edit: Also, why did it look like you took off the throttle knob of the double take, then put it back on...?? What am I missing there?
I would do the BarkBusters first. The stock guards offer little to no protection. The stock mirrors aren’t ideal but they work. Not sure what you mean about the throttle knob?
Not much difference as far as I can tell. You could go with one of the larger variations like the Storm for better wind protection. It would basically just replace the plastic shield part.
Good job. What kind of throttle lock, tensioner do you have mounted? Also I am replacing stock bars with Pro Taper AdV bars. Will I have to use universal mounts from BarkBusters? Thanks
Did the adapter you use loctite on the end of the bar come with the barkbusters kit? Also did you use the 7/8" kit or 1-1/8" kit? Mine came with the swage nut, not the adapter you show...
Another great video that really shows what you need and what to do.
Thank you sir 👍
Great video and saved me £50 per hour on labour at Motorcycle Shop. Enjoyed working on the bike as that is part of ownership
Awesome! I have almost as much fun modifying and working on my bikes as I do riding them 👍

Got some as presents for my Vstrom. Was worried as another video I saw was cutting at the grips.

Hello. Is the barkbusters better for wind protection than the stock ones?
That is my question also….I find the stock ones don’t protect very well from the cold ….hope we get an answer

Great video!! make a video installing the Atlas
I have a video from when I installed it on my last bike on the channel. Process will be the same. Thanks for watching!

I’m using an Atlas throttle lock. With the ProTapers you can tap the ends or just use the universal ends from BarkBusters.
Looks like I can do that as well... In a couple of hours and putting the right amount of effort in it ;)
Hi, could I ask where u got your oil filler cap from.
Why can’t find Barkbusters for my 2024 TENERE 700 ? Would you have a product number?
Should be the same part for all year models. There haven’t been any changes in design since it was introduced in 2021.
What turn signals are you using, they are nice!
Denali T3. Super bright!

I used the Tenere 700 specific kit. Came with everything
Where did you get it from?
Are the vibrations worse after these?
I didn’t notice any change from stock
