Do you realise how much I get excited when I see you are posting again. My favourite was your recent getaway. Boy, I felt so happy for both of you. You let us enjoy your happiness. Thank you again for keeping it real.😂
Deloris, our home should be ok but our trailer at Suwannee in the big bend area of Florida will probably have a lot of damage because that's where it's heading. Thanks for your concern
We were thinking about it but Joyce just starts cooking and sometimes makes up the recipe as she goes, she's been doing it like that for almost 60 years lol and it always turns out. Thanks for Watching our videos
Hey Sam & Joyce. I absolutely love your new fishing gear. As another viewer commented, you kids are in the path of a major storm, and we all want you to stay safe. As former Floridians, we know well the dangers. Stay safe and we'll keep y'all in our prayers. ❤
Love you guys. My heart is full watching yall catch some fish. Those stuffed sea bass look delicious I sure wish I was there eating with yall. Stay safe will call after the storm passes.💙🎣🎣
Oh yeah great job guys! Joyce you really hit home runs with seafood cooking! The fishing rods are a great gift and look great with you names on them! Love Ya!
Awesome Fishing Vid. Too bad just missed Gag season. Scamps would be good. You didnt miss out though as that dinner looked incredible. Great Job Catching and Cooking. As always, love watching you two together. We should all be so lucky and Blessed. Stay safe and Tight Lines. ❤
We just couldn't get out during the short session because of the weather. I know we could have caught some nice gag grouper, I had several break me off, there was no sense using my Grouper rods because I couldn't keep any and I would just get me mad lol. Thanks for Watching
Glad to see you getting to go fishing and getting some nice fish for dinner. Those are some nice rods, looked like they fought well with plenty of backbone to them. God bless and see you on the next one.
We were glad to get out fishing again because of the weather it's been a while since we were out. Now the weather destroyed our trailer over Suwannee where this video was taken. Thanks again for Watching our videos
Well guys glad to see you finally got off shore. Weather mans never right, at least with the wind and seas. So many times it was 1ft or less that were really 3 to 5 ft. That grouper season is a joke. Be safe. Nice dinner Joyce. Tight lines....
You're right Ed, if I could have gotten out we could have caught some nice Grouper. I got broken off several times by what I know were big Grouper. I was only using 15 lb braid on those light rods. Take care of that knee.
Joyce started to get sick but it calmed down a little and she felt better. We didn't do so well with the storm, it totally destroyed our trailer at Suwannee. Thanks for Watching our videos
Hello my friends. Yes you guys are having to much fun. And yes my stomach is hurting also, after seeing your meal. Hey please be safe and let us know how y'all are doing after the storm. And to any of your subscribers that are also in the path of this storm, please be safe😊.
Anither good video from my favorite channel . I had to laugh when you both caught the same fish. Once again you have taken a seemingly simple ingredients and turned into a mouth watering plate on the table. Stay safe in the storm we will wait to see your next video. (Now I got to look into buying a Texas made Florida fishing pole)!
Sam and Joyce. Haven't watched this video yet but hope you fair this storm well and be safe. Hopefully your suwannee house will be ok this time. Prayers to everyone in this path.
@@TheOldCoupleOutdoors wow so sorry to hear that. Im just glad you both are ok. Hopefully you had some sort of insurance to Hopefully replace it if you so decide to. You had many memories with your kids growing up there. God bless you both.
Good luck with ur new rods n watch rolling up the windows in ur truck .. They seem to be light weight and have some good backbone .. Like your fishing vid.'s .. Tight Lines MB ..

It's a lot of fun with light tackle but for big Grouper I like something heavier, I got broken off several times that trip by what I know was some big grouper but we couldn't keep them anyway.,
I always said the same thing. They give you a couple of weeks but it's possible to have bad weather the whole time especially hurricane season. Thanks for Watching our videos
About a week before Helene came and destroyed our trailer at Suwannee, even the crab traps that were in the video are gone. Thanks again for Watching our videos
We were fishing in the Gulf, that's where I have my best grouper spots. In the Atlantic it's hard to get through the Red Snapper, they took over. Thanks for Watching
Why do you throw the poor fish on the bottom of the boat and let them struggle to breath instead of putting them on ice and putting them out of their misery.
They are only on the deck for a couple of minutes at most. What would you suggest doing when you have 3 to 4 thousand individual fish on Deck after polling in a trawl net while sorting thm like I used to do on large commercial fishing boats? They actually live longer on ice than they do on deck. That's why we bleed them before putting them on ice (we don't show that on video). Thanks for Watching our videos
We must submit the petition to correct the grouper catch season: Whenever Sam and Joyce catch the grouper, it is the season to catch groupers!
Sounds like a good Idea. Thanks for Watching
A great way to break in your new rod, Sam I love watching you guys God bless
Thanks George
Beautiful rods good luck with the storm.
We'll need it, it's heading right at our trailer in Suwannee our house on the east coast should be ok. Thanks for Watching our videos

Just wondering why you don't use the rod holders in front of you to protect the new rods? Great catch!
We put the rods in the rod holders when we're running. Thanks a lot for Watching our videos
Is there any way I can get one of those rods?
Contact David at Birds Nest Fishing Tackle, just Google it and you can check out his Facebook page, just Google birds nest fishing tackle Facebook. If you have any problems let me know. Thanks for Watching our videos
We use nothing but light tackle just to give the fish a fair battle.... Otherwise, I would catch them all. 💪😎
It's a lot of fun with light tackle but for big Grouper I like something heavier, I got broken off several times that trip by what I know was some big grouper but we couldn't keep them anyway.,
Hold on Joyce, Sam ain't playing.
That's right Rose
If they would issue tags instead of using a calendar, small boat, fair weather fishermen might be able to keep some of those overly regulated species.
I always said the same thing. They give you a couple of weeks but it's possible to have bad weather the whole time especially hurricane season. Thanks for Watching our videos
I have a feeling you filmed this a week or two ago. Now, Helene is on her way, so batten down the hatches and get prepared for the storm. Be careful.
About a week before Helene came and destroyed our trailer at Suwannee, even the crab traps that were in the video are gone. Thanks again for Watching our videos
Stay strong, Joyce. Sam needs to unhook the fish. That’s a man’s job. (Yes, I said it)!
