Cast Netted A Grand Slam For Dinner

- Blue Crabs, Shrimp and Mullet, in this video we'll be catching Shrimp, Blue Crabs and Mullet for what we call a Cast Net Grand Slam. We'll be using a 4' cast net we caught the first day we ever went crabbing in Mississippi. After throwing the cast net for about an hour and half we caught about a pound and a half of shrimp, 2 big blue crabs and 2 mullet. This was the last day of our 57th anniversary trip. We decided to stop at our trailer on the way home the next day, and do the cooking there. I filleted the mullet, picked the crabs and pealed the shells from the shrimp and Joyce made a delicious dinner of Stuffed Mullet and Sautee Shrimp. I usually get hungry watching your videos but tonight i got really hungry! Shrimp AND mullet!! I was raised up eating mullet! Other than pond bream and the occasional small bass or catfish mullet was so we ever ate growing up. I like them fried, broiled, smoked, any way they're fixed i love them! Real mayo is made with eggs and oil. You made a wise decision😊. I have a chocolate cake recipe that replaces some of the liquid with mayo. It’s really good.

A little salt a good amt of pepper in a bag of flour . No Egg . Dip in milk and flor again , Size of Shimp makes no difference. Fry in fat or veg oil . About a minute or less .
