- 오늘은 국립국제교육원에서 주관하는 한미대학생연수 WEST프로그램(정부장학 해외인턴십 프로그램)의 오프라인 사전연수에 멘토로 참여하여 중기 11기 ICCE WESTie 후배님들을 대상으로 현지적응 멘토링을 진행하였습니다.
LA 어학연수와 인턴십, 비즈니스 영어와 관련한 정보, 그리고 교통, 통신, 은행 업무, 마트 등의 전반적인 미국 생활에 대한 정보 등을 나누었습니다.
저에게 있어서 1년 간의 미국 연수가 정말 유익하고 특별한 시간이었기에, 출국을 앞두고 있는 후배님들께도 이번 기회가 많은 변화와 성장을 이룰 수 있는 소중한 경험이 될 것이라고 기대합니다. 진심으로 응원합니다!
Today, I participated as a lecturer in the in-person pre-departure training of the 11th WEST program, a government scholarship overseas internship program hosted by the National Institute for International Education. I provided a lecture on adapting to living in the US for the upcoming WESTies.
I shared information on various aspects of living in the US, including language courses in LA, internships, business English, transportation, communication, banking, and grocery shopping.
My one-year study abroad in the US was an incredibly valuable and special time for me, and I hope this opportunity will also be a precious experience for the juniors, bringing them significant growth and transformation. I sincerely wish them all the best!
