Mate you are a complete legend. Watched all your videos and done this exact route last week. Passed with 3 minors. Your video helped massively, particularly with positioning on the roundabouts. Thanks very much!
Great to hear from you Danny, well done passing that’s brilliant news. Glad you found the videos helpful. Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment. Enjoy the license.
Thanks Angus for posting all these videos. I had my driving test at Currie today and passed with 1 minor. These videos were very useful in helping me familiarize with the routes.
Thanks for these videos, mate. You explain things very clearly. I failed two driving tests in 1997 as a 17 year old and haven't driven since. I've built up the idea of driving as something terrifying in my mind ever since. At 43, I'm looking at putting my fears aside. Watching these videos has helped me see driving as a logical activity rather than something to be feared. Thanks . Brilliant work.
Thanks for these great videos, they helped me a lot to understand how to use the road here and also all the tricks i, I have passed my Drivig test yesterday successfully 🎉 thanks again
Hi Efriandika Pratama, The driving test routes change regularly at the test centre. So the official route 1 will change. I have a few to put up over the next few months. I’m just calling them route 1,2,3,4 of 2022. Hope that makes sense. Thanks
Hi Jia Song, thanks for leaving a comment. Great to hear that you are finding the videos helpful. In answer to your question. If you are exiting a mini roundabout an exit signal isn’t required. If you are unsure and the roundabout is large enough and you feel you have time to check your mirrors and signal at the exit point I would still do it. 👍🏼
Congratulations Capp, thanks for taking the time to comment and I’m really glad to hear that you found the videos helpful. Well done, enjoy your new freedom and hopefully you can celebrate tonight. 👍🏼
YES always indicate off EVERY roundabout. I got a minor for it..mini painted on roundabout no cars in sight no pedestrians nothing. Minor. So always indicate always
On Lanark Road, cars typically park on both sides of the road, and traffic flows freely with no requirement to give way. However, on Bryce Road, where cars are parked on the left side if approaching from Lanark Road, drivers are expected to give way, even though there's sufficient space to maintain traffic flow. How should drivers navigate this situation effectively?
if my car got blue badge, can i park at the disabled bay when doing my bay parking test? where are the parking test ground for bay parking and parallell parking ? I know there are the sainsbury longstone and travel lodge at Dreghorn Link, much appreciated if you can shed more lights. thanks
They could use any car park while out and about. Usually it needs to be big enough that they know you can drive in and out without needing to turn in the car park
Hard to say, it would depend on the time of day and what traffic is like. The examiners won’t want to unnecessarily sit in heavy traffic. I think you want to be comfortable with Calder Road (Road with the big roundabouts) a lot of routes will include Calder Road, maybe not all of it but usually some of it at some point. Good luck with the driving.

what would you say is the more popular test route in currie?
