Hi Angus just like to thank you lost my instructor during lock down tested positive for covid and had to cancel lesson never seen him again from blackburn west lothian could not get a teat in livingston decided to go to curry and with ur videos and help from friends passed on 2nd time thanks angus videos are fantastic 👍
Hi Angus. Like many others, I passed my driving tests with you ‘company’. I guess that is the best part of the internet, you are the instructor of many people at the same time, in the past and the future. Thank you for the to be the brilliant instructor.
Hi Angus, I passed my test a few hours ago with only 4 minors. I was watching your videos a couple weeks before my test and that was a great help! Keep up with your videos, they are priceless! See you on the road :)
Haha Rebecca, it will bring back memories of us driving around getting ready for your test I’m sure. Seems a while ago now! I’m sure the streets still look the same though 😀
Hi, just wanted to say a massive thanks to you. Your videos are amazing and helps us to understand rules and routes for practical driving test. I got a similar route for my test yesterday and I passed!!!! Yes I did indeed. Thank you once again and wish you a good luck 😊
Hey Angus! I watched your videos in addition to doing my driving lessons and I passed first time! Your insight to the roads and things to watch out for was invaluable, these videos are amazing👌🏻
Hello angus First of all you are doing amazing job with your videos to help others .. I passes my test only watching your videos it helped me to know about the currie routes and roundabouts ... And helped me to cope with my fear .. Without any lessons i passed my test in first attempt .. Highly thankfull to angus God bless you
thank you brother i passes second-time, first time I didn't watch you but after I failed I found you on youtube, so helpful il be showing everyone ur vids
Hi Angus, I passed my test today with 1 minor & your videos were super helpful. Your detailed guidance on each Currie route & how different situations should be approached made a huge difference. Thanks again for making these videos😊
Aw well done that’s a great result. Really glad they helped you out. Hopefully you can celebrate your success this evening! Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment 👍🏼 Enjoy the new license 🤩
Great video, very useful. I have my test coming up in August in Currie so I will be here for a while! I do have an automatic vehicle but I cannot practice much because everyone is busy.
Hi Angus! Thanks to your videos! I watched them again and again and they helped me pass my auto driving test the first time in Currie ! Great videos! 👍
Thanks for the videos! Just had my driving test of a similar route and passed first time with only 4 minors :) These videos helped a lot wish I had found them sooner
Hi Angus - just wanted to say a biiiig thank you for your videos! Because of covid I've only had one formal driving lesson, but despite this I just passed my driving test with only one fault! My mum and I have watched all your videos, probably multiple times over, and I think they were a big part of being ready for my test. So, thank you so much for what you do! 😄
Hi Angus! Thank you so much for all your videos, I passed my test today at the first attempt. I heard your voice in my head the whole time ☺️ Your comments helped me to understand driving better and I felt more confident. Keep up the good work and see you on the road!🚙
Well done Elżbieta, that’s great news. Really glad the videos helped you, that’s funny you could hear my voice in your head. I appreciate your comment. Enjoy the new freedom and yeah I’m sure I will pass you on the road soon. Take care.
Well done Debora, what a successful day! Really glad you found the video helpful. Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment too. Enjoy your new license.
These are really useful, particularly the way you talk through the main decisions & actions as you make them. If you're running low on Currie routes, I'd love to see something around the Musselburgh test area.
Hi Angus! Your videos have been incredibly helpful in the few weeks leading up to my test. I’m glad to say I passed in the Currie area with 4 minors. The tips you pass on in these videos are excellent and I imagine will help many more like me in the future! 👍
Hi Angus. Would you consider doing any other test centre routes? Musselburgh or Livingston or Grange mouth? It would be really helpful for me and probably a lot of other people. Cheers. Andrew
Really enjoying the videos, you make it easy to understand and I feel more confident about my upcoming test, you say will only do one manoeuvre so is that reverse round a corner as well as emergency stop or just one of those things?
At 38:22 when you did the 3 point turn because of the van blocking the road, would the examiner tell you to do this to then go a different way or would you need to make this decision yourself (either to keep waiting or go a different way)
Hi Charlie, yeah the examiner would help you with it if they didn’t want to wait. So they would talk you through what they wanted you to do. It wouldn’t be part of the driving test don’t worry. Good luck with the driving.
Really!!!! Congratulations to you. That's interesting then. I have my test coming up and hopefully, I complete all possible routes Angus has on his channel.
I am happy to be watching your channel as I prepare for my test coming up in few weeks in October. This is an amazing video with a clear explanation of everything and I have learned so much from this too. If you have some time(1hr) for a mockup test before 20th of October, had be very happy to book you. I understand you are very busy, but any assistance will help. Thanks Also, one of my main challenges with UK roads is the roundabout(spiral) and the lack of early or faded marks on the road, what do you advise I do when approaching any roundabout?
Hi angus, 2 questions for you. 1. If you go over the speed limit by say 1 or 2mph but quickly realise and come under again, will this still be a fail? 2. Will the examiner bring their own sat-nav for you to use or will we be asked to use the inbuilt one on the car if its available as my instructor has one build in
Hi Lewis thanks for the questions. If you just went just over the speed limit and corrected it this would usually be okay and recorded as a driver fault. Sometimes if it is corrected quickly enough it’s not even marked down. The examiner will bring their own Sat Nav as they will have a test route already plotted on it. Hopefully that answers your questions, good luck with the driving.
+@aidengg9098 I’ve not had an extended test for years, the last one I had which could have been ten years ago still remained in the Currie area. It went down through Juniper Green onto the bypass to Dreghorn then to Colinton, down to Calder road then into Corstorphine before looping through Roddinglaw and back to the test centre. Because you will be out a little longer you could obviously leave the regular test area. Good luck with it. I’m sure you will be great.
Does anyone know Angus’s availability? Got my test in three weeks but my instructor hasn’t got that much availability and I need out with an instructor as much as possible
Hi Angus I have my test next week in Edinburgh currie I have an extended test as I was banned from driving I havent done any lessons yet there I am doing 1 before my test do you think this is enough? I have done numerous lessons in the last few months and weeks but unfortunately they were at airdrie to get me ready for there as that was where my test was but it got cancelled and all I could get was currie as I need to get back on the road ASAP for work do you have any pointers for me or do you think it is silly going into a test in currie with only one lesson? I can drive no problem atall just alot of things to learn at currie I see from watching you videos, thank you
shouldn't you have waited at 27:18 as cyclist could have turned anywhere?, and after they have passed turned left (given them a car space to pass). Brilliant video!
Hi Sahil, great comment I have watched it back incase I had made a mistake. I understand exactly what your point is. In this case it is a very wide road and I was really sure that the cyclist was turning right. Also when I edged up beside them I was going very slowly. So I don’t think in this case the cyclist would feel intimidated by me. You are 100% right though, if I was unsure which way the cyclist was going, or the road was narrower I would have waited behind them until they had pulled out the junction. Hopefully that makes sense, glad you are liking the video and finding it useful. Hopefully you are on the road soon. Good luck with the driving.
If you are on a road with regular street lights and you can’t see a speed limit sign then it will usually be a 30 mph zone. 20mph zones will have pretty constant speed limit signs telling you it’s 20 so you can’t really miss them.

More vids coming soon ?
Do more rounds like this ,
Turning left after test start
Most of your routes/video are with the right side , left is more popular and hard

Hi Angus, how do I know the speed limit of every road because I fail my test Because Use of speed.
