Also it's National Chenin Blanc Day this weekend so I thought it was fitting to talk about South Africa, where it is the most planted grape.

I’m so late in watching this video, great job Vivian. Yeah during lockdown we couldn’t buy any alcohol as the department of health feared that alcohol induced accidents and injuries would flood the hospitals with basically “unwanted” patients as those beds were needed for covid positive patients. Pinotage is a great grape variety that even here is still not appreciated as it should be. Amazing reds and whites are produced here and get better by the year.
