There are more Healthy food in Tashkent Uzbekistan than MacDonald's. Their food there are natural and not proceed like Macdonald's. Macdonald is a Western thing.
Very true! Eating junk food is not encouraged and most locals place a high importance on meals cooked from scratch using locally-sourced ingredients directly from the farm.
It's probably the most authentic city you'll find in the region and definitely not too commercialised. You'll have a great time, I'm sure. Feel free to ask me any questions, I will help if I can.
