Exactly. As much as I love EVERYONE in the 2008 cast (especially their Roger, Mark and Joanne) I didn't like the 2008 cast Maureen. Idina will always be the best Maureen

I liked Nicole Scherzinger's Over The Moon way better. She made it her own and it was amazing! Great acting, much funnier and great singing! And she's no professional actor, just a pop-act!
Everyone’s entitled to their own opinion, I loved Vanessa and Nicole’s versions and I just find Idina pure irritating; original or not, but loads of people love her so she must be doing something right!

I saw the touring version in Boston in 1997 and Maureen was played by Carrie Hamilton and she did a great job.
She doesn't hold a candle to Nicole Scherzinger.
