- In this first episode of the off-season, we chat about our distinct FA Cup final experiences, and the ramifications of Man Utd winning the famous old trophy.
There's some stuff on the managerial merry-go-round that's spinning fast already this summer, how Arsenal should come to the rescue of a player in black and white, and a round-up of stories involving Albert Sambi Lokonga, Thomas Partey and a potential goalkeeper signing. Then we answer listener questions about loaning or selling players like Ramsdale and Smith Rowe, the need for someone to make us less reliant on Martin Odegaard, Premier League players Arsenal might target this summer, links to Marcus Rashford, and lots more.

I give you my point of view as a french gunner about the next summer transfer window.
In my opinion, Arsenal needs to spend a lot of money in a creative midfielder, a guy who has the passing skills to break lines in the field.
I understand the concern about the striker but for me it's not anymore the main problem.
I think we should keep trusting Kay Havertz for that position, he's pretty confident and I bet he'll be better next year so why not get another young striker a little bit cheaper than Isak, Toney , Watkins etc... someone like Zirkzee from Bologna.
Also I think we need a winger, a guy who can compete and up the levels of Martinelli, Trossard and Saka.
And finally we need someone in the central defense who could permit Salida to rest a bit.
Sorry if I made some mistakes in English that not my mother tongue.
COYG !!!
I agree with you, but I'm not sure we want to go for a cheaper striker. Maybe we want someone who can play wide and
Thank you jesus for some content...been rough getting used to so little football games and youtube content

One season with Arteta and Rashford will be the best player in the league.
Take him all day long
Jack Grealish at Spurs...well, at least he'd be safe from falling off a bus during a victory parade.
ESR Has to stay IMO ❤
Best podcast on any format 👌

Hands down
I genuinely NEVER believe Andrew when he says “I didn’t watch it” … sure thing Arsene! You watch it all 😉
I really didn't watch!
Stop linking us to this fraud. Arteta is never going to sign a player with such poor workrate off the ball or with such a poor dressing room attitude.
😂😂😂
Ramsdale - sell
Vieira - loan
ESR - keep
I believe that’s how the cookie will crumble.
1:00:00 whilst we might get a few million more waiting to sell Ramsdale, we have to consider the timing of cashflow and FFP. Selling Ramsdale for say 20m could release 60-70m spending now. KT Nelson, sambi and ESR won't bring in sufficient money to enable us to spend big.
Where is the rashford discussion?🤔is it in part 2. Halfway through podcast but no word on rashford yet...
With the increase in number of games, should we have more assurance to fringe players for game time? I think the returning loan players can go, but disrupting the dressing room with too many changes might disturb our team chemistry
Europa Chelsea League!!!!! I laughed so hard i almost fell of my chair ❤
I can see why they made the changes to CL having finally understand the format from James' explination.
So now we are guaranteed every top seeded team plays 2 other in the league (group) stage. For a neutral that is pretty cool.
I subscribed
The only thing I like about the new UCL format is that teams don't get knocked out into the Europa League. But more games means more injuries. Increased game time is already taking it's toll. Now there'll be more games? Squads will definitely need to get bigger
Intro starts > AFC Boogie Mode ON! 😆
No time for sentimentality.
Anyone who thinks Bruno would be a success are delusional. The man in black and white will not get away with as much of his shit in red. You can guarran-damn-tee that. I do not want to be hearing "if that was bruno" for the next 5 years ffs
Actually that’s a dam good point but not many willing to say it. The tax Arsenal has to pay. Not to mention the blind eye refs will give to our opponents which will infuriate Bruno further when say Mcginn plants an elbow into his neck and we end up 1 man down when Bruno reacts.
White could be our stones in the setup

I don't know more games amongst the top teams sounds better. No longer looking at the groups and going oh these 3 teams guaranteed max points and these 4 probably 10-13.
Top seed also plays 2 top seed teams, so more challenge and spectacle.
However, yes bigger teams are a must, but that was the case anyway, 2 more games doesn't really change that,
@@Audiostyleable We'll see after it plays out. We might come to love it or hate it like VAR lol
Sambi Lokonga is good on the ball. If his off the ball game could improve, I would have him as Partey's replacement
"Odegaard is the most irreplaceable player"
Nope.
1- Saka, Rice, Saliba
2- White, Timber, Martinelli, Kai,
3- Odegaard, Big Gabi, Tomi, Jesus....the rest
That's the squad hierarchy imo.
Odegaard is a CMF who if I had to rate would get :
Workrate - 10/10
Retention- 10/10
Passing- 8/10
Shooting- 5/10
Creativity- 6/10
Carrying- 1/10
Physicality- 5/10
Lots of room for improvement. Especially when we have players like Rice who will soon develop into that Captain figure.
& ALL OF OUR PLAYERS WORK HARD btw.
Lol creativity is atleast 8. He doens't get assists because people like Jesus miss the chances he creates.
Ødegaard is higher in the priority to keep than majority of the squad, he's on level par with Saka and Saliba in my eyes. I can see the possibility that Martinelli leaves this year or next if there's a good offer.
@arjitjere1559 also ødegaard is more of the the Assist Assiter, sets up alot of the direct Assists.
@@arjitjere1559 Arteta's early years & Emery's torturous tenure has made this fanbase forget what elite creativity looks like....
