Building any stadium without a dome in Florida is not a good idea. Besides the thunderstorms that happen all the time, the heat and humidity is just plain BRUTAL.
At the very least Florida stadiums need a canopy to keep everyone out of direct sunlight. Any early afternoon game before Halloween has you running the risk of heat stroke.
Seriously. This is after all the state that had the first ever weather delay for a WrestleMania. (Everyone was shocked that it didn't happen for the Orlando ones and the Miami one but I've never understood why Tampa's stadium is open-air with no roof.)
Build Ray's Stadium in TAMPA❤💯.. Wn the Ray's went to Sp Pete they actually thought it was a gonna be a real draw for older crowds, Well with the best seat in a game arguably being at one's own home, that changed, Traffic is one way on and one way out.. Tampa is one of the hottest real estate markets in the nation right now.. Definitely a boost in attendance with Tampa.
I think your next video should be about the declining expectations when it comes to the longevity of these stadiums and arenas. There used to be a time when the expected lifespan was around 50 years. It's ludicrous to spend billions of dollars on a facility that will need to be replaced in under 25 years. A lot of this comes down to the egos of ownership, who seem to want to have the latest and greatest shiny new objects, but expect taxpayers to pay for most of it.
I live in Fl, going to a 1pm game at Raymond James and everbank is miserable on top of a lot of fans going to hospital for heat strokes pop up on particularly hot days.
What's the over/under for the date, depressed ginger comes out with a video, is SoFi stadium in Los Angeles obsolete? When will the rams be getting a new stadium?😂😂
A half roof like the FSU design in FL would be horrible. Their would be no breeze and no AC so it would be like sitting in an oven regardless of time of game
Canopies, like the one at Hard Rock should be the bare minimum for every major FL stadium. It really is brutal from late August to early October for 12pm/1pm kickoffs. And Orlando needs to stop trying to make Camping World Stadium a thing. Nobody wants to play there. It's a concert venue that happens to host two bowl games at best. They're only hope is to lure in a UFL expansion team.
@@davidnovak707 For sure. I went to a game there in 2013 and the stadium looked like it was ready for demolition. Run down in every way. It makes me believe that the Jags Stadium will be amazing after its renovation.
