Building any stadium without a dome in Florida is not a good idea. Besides the thunderstorms that happen all the time, the heat and humidity is just plain BRUTAL.

At the very least Florida stadiums need a canopy to keep everyone out of direct sunlight. Any early afternoon game before Halloween has you running the risk of heat stroke.

Seriously. This is after all the state that had the first ever weather delay for a WrestleMania. (Everyone was shocked that it didn't happen for the Orlando ones and the Miami one but I've never understood why Tampa's stadium is open-air with no roof.)

Build Ray's Stadium in TAMPA❤💯.. Wn the Ray's went to Sp Pete they actually thought it was a gonna be a real draw for older crowds, Well with the best seat in a game arguably being at one's own home, that changed, Traffic is one way on and one way out.. Tampa is one of the hottest real estate markets in the nation right now.. Definitely a boost in attendance with Tampa.

I think your next video should be about the declining expectations when it comes to the longevity of these stadiums and arenas. There used to be a time when the expected lifespan was around 50 years. It's ludicrous to spend billions of dollars on a facility that will need to be replaced in under 25 years. A lot of this comes down to the egos of ownership, who seem to want to have the latest and greatest shiny new objects, but expect taxpayers to pay for most of it.

Canopies, like the one at Hard Rock should be the bare minimum for every major FL stadium. It really is brutal from late August to early October for 12pm/1pm kickoffs. And Orlando needs to stop trying to make Camping World Stadium a thing. Nobody wants to play there. It's a concert venue that happens to host two bowl games at best. Mark this post! The A's will have massive success in Sacramento. Why? 1. MLB game experiences = nothing but sideshows & distractions. 2. TV revenue is massive, and if you keep overhead low then who cares if you get 18k/night. I would build a creative, yet inexpensive, barebones, bla stadium. It is the ability to win games that gets fans into the seats.

I think fans would 100% show up if they built the stadium in Tampa. They have a *small* amount of loyal fans. But the location in St. Pete doesn’t get taken into consideration by outsiders. If you live there or frequent the area, like I have my entire life, it’s horrible. Yet people like this TH-camr and non Tampa area natives talk about fans not going. It’s an entire days trip to get there and back tbh, and with the idiotic times baseball games are played, it’s not surprising that the stadium is empty.

If the Rays move to Orlando, I like the design of that "Orlando Dreamers" stadium... but the location was crap. Seriously, cramming a stadium between the Beachline and Aquatica? There's a reason why I don't typically go to Aquatica and it has nothing to do with their ownership (everyone has their opinion on SeaWorld, mine is complicated, and FURTHER complicated by the fact that I worked for the main park, and I'll leave it at that) and everything to do with the traffic. I still recall the time going to work when I was stuck on a bus on that cloverleaf for _40 minutes_ one Saturday in July.
