I put some antifatigue mat on the platform, helps with numb feet. Love both my z2's I adjusted the turn buckle for the speed controller (under the dash rhs) much better speed now. I was cutting in the third speed, now I cut in low or second speed, use high for getting there. Put the selector in third and adjust the turnbuckle till the handle cannot touch the front bar and lock it down.
i'm lookin at a SZseries kubota stand on wich has a 19hp 36'' , 26hp 48'' and 27 hp 52'' gas or can be adapted with a diesel engine option plus a pto but it will kill the engine when you get off wich is $11,000, $12,000 , $13,000

No, never demoed one yet but, I did drive one around a few minutes at the GIE 2 yrs ago and I thought it was really nice. I've seen the cut quality and it looks good 👍
J's Crazy Cutz, LLC I’ve always considered the Ferris mowers, but my reservations have always been if they discharge as good as the Scags. As you very well know, here in South Louisiana, wet grass is the rule and not the exception!
@@chevyv.2281 yeah, I know what you mean! I did a comparison video on a Scag vrs ExMark and didn't see much difference. I think my Ferris mowers discharge wet grass really well though. "Bahia" is probably the only grass it has trouble spreading out in one pass but, that's every mower I've tried before.
Yeah, I still have this mower and it's close to 1600 hrs. I bought 2 2021 models just like it and they have close to 400 hrs each. It's great machine in my opinion and it shouldn't have a problem making it to 2k hrs with proper maintenance 😉👍....should also note that I had to replace both wheel motors at 1k hrs. Only one went bad but I replaced both of them so, both would be new🤷it was about $3500 installed new by my dealer for everything.
I never ran a ferris, had a wright when I was still cutting full time, now that I do mostly contract work and only mow once a week, I run a crappy badboy zt elite

I hear wright hydro drive wheels are better and easier to maintain.. but I hear Ferris stripes better.. man idk what direction to go for next season.. I’m going to buy a stand on 52 but j is hear negative about all and pros .. this was my first year lawn care and I grew way more then expected for year one
@@aaronhobart6223 I did have the left pump seal replaced because, it started slowly leaking around 700hrs but, it only cost $125 for the dealer to replace the seal I run the he'll out of mine. I think I'm at like 930hrs now. It's all personal preference on which mower you choose. I prefer the Hydro-gear wheel motors over the Parker . The Parkers are very sensitive when it comes to the controls. The hydro gear is a bit tricky to change the hydro oil but, not a deal breaker in my opinion. I know the ICD deck on the Ferris will out perform the Wright's deck in any conditions.
Ferris does make darn good machines. Very thorough review 👍

Great review. Any footage of cutting with mulch kit and what type of blades did you run? Looking at putting a lot on mine for year round.

Do you think riding on the sulky causes fatigue and foot problems?
I never rode on a sulky but, I would imagine it's not healthy for your feet,ankles and legs.
Have you demoed or tried the Scag VR2’s yet, that a lot of people here in the BR area run?
No, never demoed one yet but, I did drive one around a few minutes at the GIE 2 yrs ago and I thought it was really nice. I've seen the cut quality and it looks good 👍
