*sigh* I wish people would stop complaining about "Realism" People it's literally impossible to show all of the mechanics of modern warfare on a Men of War size map. In real life Russian artillery and air would have hit this base, and then American artillery and air would have hit the Russian positions. And the tanks wouldn't engage each other at these ranges they'd hit each other at long ranges. 500 meters or more. Their effective range is up to 3 kilometers after all. In real life American aircraft would have halted an armored push like this minutes after it began. One Apache attack helicopter has enough munitions to take out two Russian tank platoons and the supporting IFVs and infantry. And Apaches work in groups of two or more. In real life Russian fighter aircraft would have been fighting American fighters for control of the airspace above the AO. People this ISN'T REAL WAR! It's just a game so just enjoy the friggin' explosions. -------- On a much less sour note, I loved the battle Diplex and can't wait for the next one ^^
I agree with you Microzombie people should just enjoy the bad ass battles for what they are. It kills the happy mood I get after watching to see comments complaining about how it wasn't realistic, this is probably as close as you can get while keeping it short and fun.
javelins are like that there the best missile launcher in the world and the ARMY and MARINES use them so you cant take less of them out since each squad has one.
this was so unreal but still cool. note russian in the open vs dug in american is not fair even though both have the same amount of troops and tanks. also helicopters can be taken out by 50 cal easily
I say get the fsa and the idf back it doesn't have to be a big battle just to have like a fsa stronghold and the idf sent a small force to clear them out?

Diplex when you said that the marine corps was wiped out in the base building episode I think you just said that to give a poor excuse to show the army, also the army rangers would of been better for most of the battles since there the ones that go into the fight first in every war that America has been in. Nick Sowders I mean when the army goes in the rangers lead the way but in the first episodes when it was going down with landings and such that's were the marines would be best at, Diplex should of used more army when things started to settle down and the main forces were coming in. and MARINES are also badass but in my opinion the RANGERS are better.

I think your videos be more interesting if we did not see you controlling units but rather see a battle take place, and adding things during the battle? Try. And at least think head and gets some pilot skills before turning a good video into an epic fail next time, not trying to be mean but hopefully honest so you can make the video seem more awesome, just saying....

I think you could do these way better if somehow you could play this via multiplayer. Should be possible right?
Add some artillery to start off and assault on the next base as it would actually be done in really life
I think that there should be less units with the javelin because it's a bit op.

Each middle is 78k and each tube is 128k 10 guys have them and instantly there is more than 1 million dollars of equipment already in the battle.

Here's what I've summarized the Americans suck at offense (or it was the Abrams) and the Russians are good at offensive capabilities
I don't get it Abrams are badass tanks and can kick ass but for some reason they suck in the game.

as soon as the russians fell back the us would probably clear the landing strip and recieve more supplies and tanks
If you can't take off hold S first,then quickly press W and hold S again before it crashes. I think that's the problem with that version of the mod.

actually the marines are most commonly used and first deployed just because they are stationed on ships around the world
