Just ran the event again for another mat. The game delayed and I selected the default team which was Rey, RHF, 3PO and JTR BB8. The last 2 I didn’t have modded / missing mods as I had used loadouts for RHP and R2. I used the exact same strategy. It took a lot longer. This time my Rey’s health was 208k (1st run was 180k). This just saved me 70 energy. Thanks again.
Just wanted to say thank you for these videos. They really helped me as they were very informative this last week when I was going for GL Rey. Been watching your Tier 4-5 and now this one to get the strategy ready for those battles.
I don’t understand how this worked for you. I tried this 5x’s and lost every single time. Removing Kylo’s turn meter boost’s his max health and adding debuffs adds protection. C-3PO is helping Kylo stay alive and he eventually wipes me out. I replaced C-3PO with BB-8 and R2 with JTR and now have been 2/2. Not a knock on you, I just don’t understand how Kylo wasn’t ramping up from C-3PO. I know you’ll ask about mods and my team is modded better than yours is (not trying to sound cocky or anything). I hope this comment will help others who are having the same issue I am. The only debuff I put on Kylo is healing immunity from JTR.
I've tried it this way, and Ahnold's way, and failed both times. Super frustrated, especially since every TH-cam video talks about how easy this tier is. My problem is that Kylo just won't take any damage. No matter what I do, he barely loses any health, then he just regains it back. Eventually, he gets like 400 stacks of his bonus, and wipes me out -- after about 10-15 minutes of me hacking away at him to no avail. Any help or advice would be super appreciated!
(Thought I could post screenshots of mods, but guess I can’t. ). Rey: all gold health mods, 251k health, 433 speed. Poe: crit chance & crit damage, all gold, speed 301. Finn: all gold, speed set, 337 speed.
You need Rey at +510 speed, thats the only way youll get out ahead to protect your team. As per not killing kylo, I switch out Reys triangle with a crit damage triangle, but at 433 speed you may not be able to keep up the damage output.
I want to say how much I appreciate your videos, you have helped me get through some tough events. This being one of them. Your videos helped me breeze through tiers 1-6, but now I am on tier 7 and 1 for 3. Do you have advice for the ultimate tier?
Well, this way worked for me the first time, and has always failed ever since. Kylo's health just doesn't go down. I can hammer him forever and he doesn't die.
How are you modded because I just tried it three times without switching mods and had no issue (lost R2 once). Offense arrow on Rey, 513 speed, health circle, cross, and triangle.
@@dylarrstwilektactics I had him down to red after 2 rounds the first time and said to myself, "Oh this will be cake." Then I fought him for the next 13 minutes or so and his stacks went over 400. My Rey has 572 speed. Any side character I use has probably 200k in hp and protection after a couple of rounds and at some point one or both just gets one shot by a side character. My mods are good on all characters, and I try to follow what you suggest but you never shows what your stats are.
IDK, this seems to work about 50 percent of the time. Obviously mods can vary, but sometimes the sides just gun down a RH, sometimes they don't. If they don't it more or less goes like this, though it appears my DR mods are faster relative to the Rex mods.
This strategy doesn’t always work. And I just wasted 70 energy in the process. I’m looking for a better set of characters. I ran this strategy with solid mods as per instruction. If you don’t kill SLKR quick enough it becomes impossible to win and he starts taking out the team.
@@ryanmcdermott2697 There is definitely some subtlety to the mods. I made my Threepio somehow too fast and it killed things for me. Also, make sure Rey is 500+ in speed. I think I was messing around mods trying to figure this one out, and wasted a couple battles because Kylo would go first.
rubaiyat300 My mods are very good. I did two runs in a row bc I saved up 140 energy. The first was fine. The second run for whatever reason it went south. I swear CG has algorithms to sabotage progress and draw out more spending.
Man you are smart I defeated Kylo no problem the characters and mods are super on point I believe you should be more recognized than all the others I always follow your strategy and points. I won first battle and then lost second battle and then won 4 battles in a row and then lost 2 battles in a row I mean wtf is going on is the RNG that bad or what???
@@dylarrstwilektactics On the Battles i lost on I noticed that kylo got an early stun on either 3PO or Finn and that seemed to mess up my start and the battle just went bad from there and basically I just couldn't get enough damage done to kill kylo he just keeps gaining health! My Rey is 535 speed so I am good there and my finn and poe and R2 over 300 speed and my 3PO was 287 speed about! With these early stuns from kylo I thought maybe it was RNG related or something!
Wasted 210 tickets following this video 3 times and I'm not happy. I will give the OP credit since his Kylo event was superb and all of the Rey tiers leading up to this one was perfect. This Tier 6 is very different. Not "easy peasy, lemon squeezy" and quite frustrating. I don't know if this video was made before Kylo's buff but this lineup does NOT work for everyone and it clearly shows in the comments, too. My Rey 511 speed 202k health, Poe and Finn both have high critical chance and everything as close to the mods shown as possible. Rey and 3PO are relic 7, Poe, Finn and R2 are relic 5. All with 6e mods. When you are down to just Kylo by himself, you are also stuck with 3PO occasionally forced to use his basic and giving Kylo buffs that delays the battle while allowing Kylo to stack his mastery. You can see why this is horrific. Then it is, too little, too late. I could never get Kylo down into the yellow. He gains close to 350+ stacks of mastery and you know it's not going to end well. I have been practicing with BB8 and JTR in phase 5 while trying to gain my tickets back. That lineup makes more sense since JTR prevents Kylo from doing AOEs with the ability block but also gains taunt with foresight. This causes Kylo's attacks to be dodged and his mastery to gain much slower. Then with BB8's Illuminated Destiny, you get all sorts of buffs including more offense and speed and that's how you can take him down.
I don´t know why but this looks way harder and complicated then Tier 6 from GL Kylo. I finnish my Tier 6 Kylo within 1 to 2 minutes and always win easily xD
Rey's event does seem the hardest of all the GL's. There is no perfect answer to this one. Some have success with JTR and BB8 in for 3po and R2, but I still prefer R2 for the offensive stat sharing. Possible remove 3p0 for JTR if you are having a ton of difficulty. Hope it helps.

I'v played this out at least 30 times. Offense arrow on Rey, tenacity set on Rey, JTR in for 3PO, not swapping mods on my allies, etc. I still haven't lost once. You've got to keep adequate lifeblood on your allies, and focus all offence on SLKR. If you are using 3PO then be sure you do not use your basic on SLKR, if you bring JTR do not use mindtricks on SLKR. "RNG" has yet to beat me in T6.
if you are using 3PO you must be carefull not to reduce SLKR's TM, that just stacks up his health and prot. Otherwise Im not sure where you are missing your damage. Even with a tenacity build on Rey Im still able to burn him down
@@dylarrstwilektactics would it work using bb8 and not r2? jtr using call to assist and using bb8? it took forever to save 70 tickets with 3 refreshes a day only... but my rey is now also r3 and will be r4 (maybe 5) by the time I get enough tickets
@@gregg8726 there's the rub. For T6 you really need your Rey R7. I wouldn't even attempt it again until she is imo. I dont think BB8 adds much, but try it if youd like.
Tier 6 is a different animal, especially after the Kylo advantage buff. One thing of note is do not remove TM (c3po basic or JTR mindtricks) from SLKR as this gives him stacking health.

I just tried this and got smoked. R5 Rey, all health primaries, 213k health, 9k pd. Got SLKR out of his protection, and then it barely budged and he just whittled Rey down and finally got Finn out, then Rey.

I heard SLKR got some buffs or a rework, but not sure if those are the same ones already in this video and before it or not, but it was definitely a lot harder for me. No disrespect, but a heads up for anyone who is used to using your unlock videos, I've used every one up until this GL with no issues.

So the frustrating thing with this is that there's no explanation of why it works - not how you're trying to accomplish what you want to accomplish nor how SLKR's abilities are a threat to that strategy. There's no mention of the Siphon ability or what it does or why that's going to doom you if you don't kill SLKR as quickly as possible. I took your word for this "strategy" being easy and that this was all we need to know, but out of the gate Kylo stunned RH Poe for two turns and I was behind right away. There's also no explanation of why you might want to take out the left First Order Raider - you just do, leaving your viewers confused as to why you say you want to ignore the Ads and then don't. I lost 70 tickets, and that's not your fault. I still have to play my own game, but this video isn't a strategy video. It's an example video. Sure, this might work. It might also fail. And there's nothing in the video that explains why. From my perspective, this video represents a lost opportunity with not enough thought put in. I find it completely ironic that the channel's name includes "tactics" and yet there's literally no tactical knowledge imparted. "I did this! It worked!" Congratulations, but that's a narrative, not a strategy guide.
I'm sure there are other videos out there if you need a higher level analysis. But if you just want to copy my speeds and modding and get it done quick my video is sufficient.
What exactly is tripping you up? Iv tried this recently without switching mods and also subbing in JTR for 3PO without failing, so without seeing your gameplay I don’t know where you’re going awry.
@@dylarrstwilektactics Hey thanks for taking time to reply - especially since I was an ass with foul language. First attempt, I was stuck in a cycle where I would get Kylo down into the red but he would do his special (the one on the far right) where he would gain all his health back. I didn't have JTR in at that time. Second attempt I did, and I did kill kylo with a whirlwind, but Rey was barely alive when I did and the minions went immediately after and killed her (I had already lost Poe). Thought bb8, hero Finn and JTR would be able to take out the minions, but they didn't. Have 70 tickets saved up - I think I need a bit more offense on my Rey (will go with a primary offense on the plus instead of health). Still contemplating bb8 or R2 as the fifth. Advice on that? Rey and JTR are relic 7, heros are relic 5, bb8 is obviously relic 7 and my R2 is relic 5. Final thought - SLKR's syphon was insanely high for me (in the 200's).
I of course prefer R2 over BB8 just for everything that R2 does. Just remember with JTR to never do her mindtricks. Reducing TM on SLKR team members increases their max health and protection.
I just tried it now with the heroes (R5), JTR (R7), R2(R7), and leaving my tenacity set on Rey and still had no issue. I did three lifebloods on HFinn and then focused all offense to SLKR. He went down with 130 stacks of siphon. I never used mindtricks with JTR and only used the event ability once to Rey.
Just did it again and only lifeblooded twice which allowed them the enemy to trigger damage immunity twice. SLKR ate 2 whirlwinds and went down fairly easily.

Its been a while but I believe I avoided reducing his TM wherever possible.
It's because of the Slacker rework, hence the C3PO combo doesn't work after the rework mid 2020.

I beat it twice. I then moved some mods around for another event and can’t beat it again. Very frustrating.
this one is very likely the hardest GL T6. You can try BB8 and JTR as the fourth and fifth, I have heard that works as well.
in T 4 and 5 you use bb8. how come you use r2 in t6? sorry if I missed it
Oh no worries. The increased stat share from number crunch and the smokescreen onto Rey.
This strat is outdated and does not work the same since the rework in 2020. Use a different strat!

552 speed R3 Rey, 12K higher GP team than this, Kylo simply refuses to die. 2 failures now.

I heard SLKR got some buffs or a rework, but not sure if those are the same ones already in this video and before it or not, but it was definitely a lot harder for me. No disrespect, but a heads up for anyone who is used to using your unlock videos, I've used every one up until this GL with no issues.
Tried it and failed. Switched c3 for JTR and it was easy. Missleading video title.

Make sure your Rey is 500+ speed. Lifeblood a few times off the start and then unload on Kylo. heal as needed

So the frustrating thing with this is that there's no explanation of why it works - not how you're trying to accomplish what you want to accomplish nor how SLKR's abilities are a threat to that strategy. There's no mention of the Siphon ability or what it does or why that's going to doom you if you don't kill SLKR as quickly as possible. I took your word for this "strategy" being easy and that this was all we need to know, but out of the gate Kylo stunned RH Poe for two turns and I was behind right away. There's also no explanation of why you might want to take out the left First Order Raider - you just do, leaving your viewers confused as to why you say you want to ignore the Ads and then don't.
I lost 70 tickets, and that's not your fault. I still have to play my own game, but this video isn't a strategy video. It's an example video. Sure, this might work. It might also fail. And there's nothing in the video that explains why.
From my perspective, this video represents a lost opportunity with not enough thought put in. I find it completely ironic that the channel's name includes "tactics" and yet there's literally no tactical knowledge imparted.
"I did this! It worked!" Congratulations, but that's a narrative, not a strategy guide.
I'm sure there are other videos out there if you need a higher level analysis. But if you just want to copy my speeds and modding and get it done quick my video is sufficient.

What exactly is tripping you up? Iv tried this recently without switching mods and also subbing in JTR for 3PO without failing, so without seeing your gameplay I don’t know where you’re going awry.
@@dylarrstwilektactics Hey thanks for taking time to reply - especially since I was an ass with foul language. First attempt, I was stuck in a cycle where I would get Kylo down into the red but he would do his special (the one on the far right) where he would gain all his health back. I didn't have JTR in at that time. Second attempt I did, and I did kill kylo with a whirlwind, but Rey was barely alive when I did and the minions went immediately after and killed her (I had already lost Poe). Thought bb8, hero Finn and JTR would be able to take out the minions, but they didn't. Have 70 tickets saved up - I think I need a bit more offense on my Rey (will go with a primary offense on the plus instead of health). Still contemplating bb8 or R2 as the fifth. Advice on that? Rey and JTR are relic 7, heros are relic 5, bb8 is obviously relic 7 and my R2 is relic 5. Final thought - SLKR's syphon was insanely high for me (in the 200's).
I of course prefer R2 over BB8 just for everything that R2 does. Just remember with JTR to never do her mindtricks. Reducing TM on SLKR team members increases their max health and protection.
I just tried it now with the heroes (R5), JTR (R7), R2(R7), and leaving my tenacity set on Rey and still had no issue. I did three lifebloods on HFinn and then focused all offense to SLKR. He went down with 130 stacks of siphon. I never used mindtricks with JTR and only used the event ability once to Rey.
Just did it again and only lifeblooded twice which allowed them the enemy to trigger damage immunity twice. SLKR ate 2 whirlwinds and went down fairly easily.
